well you don't know how to get back to your crawl space underneath the dirt and the rust and the waste.
“I’m so sorry.. You wouldn’t have even had to come here if it wasn’t for me..” Uh-oh. Seth suddenly panicked, struggling to get out from under the straps that held him bed bound, his teeth biting harshly into his lower lip. Aiden couldn't blame himself for this! It was all Seth's fault; his own stupid, selfish fault. "Aiden, sweetie, no. Don't blame yourself for this. Please. It's my fault you had to even take me here..." He whimpered quietly once he's managed a somewhat more sitting up position, his hair hanging down in front of his tear shined eyes, his normally pale cheeks flushed a soft red. The once blissfully numb sensation was slowly beginning to peel away, layer by layer, leaving Seth feeling a soft tingling sensation layered over the sharp pinprick sensation that crawled across his skin. Seth shivered faintly against the foreign sensation that was assaulting his pale skin, his fingers jerking softly as the pain became more and more intense. Seth's lips focused into a thin, hard line as he struggled to push away the urge to flinch as every inch of his body was stabbed over and over again by theoretical needles, tears welled hotly in the well of his lower lids as he lay in the bed, his breathing held steady as he struggled to concentrate on something other than the pain assaulting him.
"I––I'm sorry y-you––oh fuck–– had to put up with this shit... He managed to whimper out carefully, his eyes squeezed shut against the physical pain that was being afflicted to his body, his slender fingers curled into fists at his sides as he writhed against the pain. Seth frowned quietly as he watched Aiden pulling his small black shirt closer to his body, his gaze impatiently scanning the room for the clothes he'd been wearing when Aiden had somehow managed to get him to the hospital where he was promptly stripped to nothing but his boxers and one of those weird, itchy paper nightgown dress things. Hell, he may have been gay but that didn't make him a fucking cross dresser. Why didn't they have like...pants? Anything but this mother fucking dress. "...Aide? Your jacket's over there with my clothes, you can get it if you want it back... You look cold." Seth murmured quietly above the low hum of the air conditioner. Why was that stupid thing even on; wasn't it winter or something? A voice in the back of his head was muttering something about how it was supposed to keep his fever down. What fever?
“I think the morphine’s gotten to you..” Seth's hazel eyes blinked open slowly as he heard Aiden's voice stirring the icy chill that shrouded his little mind, a weak smile forced onto his lips as he wriggled softly atop the mattress as if trying to writhe away from the pain. "Yeah, I don't think so." He managed softly, his eyes squeezed closed against the dull throbbing in his throat, his fingers twisting the pale blue fabric of the sheets tightly about his fingers. "Honestly Aide, I'm not mad at you... I actually wanted to tell you thanks. I probably would've died today if you weren't at the park today." Seth shifted uneasily beneath the thin blankets piled atop his small body, his fingers nervously picking at the sheets. "Please don't think it's your fault that I tried to kill myself... It's just that a whole bunch of little things just started to add up: I left Oli home alone and he wasn't answering my calls, I was scared to go back to Noelle' or my apartment, and I slept outside in that stupid play tunnel, and–and I just couldn't take it anymore. I was going to do it anyways, you just saved me." He managed in a quiet whisper, his teeth busy worrying away at his lower lip as he searched for words between his slow sentences, his eyes studying the weave of the sheets as if amazed by the patterns traced into the threads. "Aiden I don't know how to tell you how grateful I am that you didn't just leave me to die. I don't know what Oliver would do if he lost me, I–I don't know if he could make it on his own." Seth whimpered abashedly, not quite able to bring his gaze up to meet Aiden's own. Not like it would do any good, the other boy had yet to look him in the eye since...when? The park?
Aiden didn't say a word. Not one little word. Seth frowned curiously and hesitated before raising his eyes up only to be greeted with Aiden's mirrored eyes filled with terror. He was scared? Why the hell was he scared? He was staring at Seth as if he'd threatened the beat him within an inch of his life with a newspaper. "A-Aiden? You don't think I'm going to hurt you, do you?" Panic filled Seth's voice as he peered over at the other boy, frantically trying to get himself loose of those stupid straps that held him hostage to the bed. Where they even allowed to keep him tied down without his or Oliver's permission? No no, he couldn't be getting sidetracked. Not at a time like this; not with Aiden so afraid that he would hurt him. If only he could get loose he'd show Aiden that he would never hurt him. How could he? Aiden was one of the best things that had ever happened to him, no matter how insistently the other boy swore that he'd fucked Seth's life up all to hell, Seth knew that he hadn't. Finally realizing that it was hopeless, Seth stilled and whimpered helplessly, his fingers stretching towards the other boy's arm. “I-I don’t know—?” With a soft sigh Seth stilled and sunk silently into the sheets, his teeth sinking slowly into his bottom lip as he pouted quietly, feeling rather childish at the moment. "Why are you so scared of me all of the sudden? I haven't ever hurt you, have I?" He sulked quietly, his slender fingers picking at the off color sheets with half a mind, his head pressing faintly into the papery pillow case. "I really am sorry and I really did mean it when I said I wasn't mad at you."
Suddenly the door to Seth's room burst open and Nurse Bitch rushed into the room in a swirl of white scrubs and dirty blonde hair, a rather large smile plastered onto her too thin lips as she directed her sunny dose of faux personality towards the boy bound to his bed, although stuttering as she noticed Aiden still in the room, her expression dropped slightly. "Oh. It's you. As worried as he was about you and you just leave him like this. Tsk tsk, I would've expected more than that from you." Seth suddenly cut his eyes towards the nurse, a soft snarl given as she edged towards Aiden in a vain attempt to keep her away from the other boy. As if on cue she sudden whirl to face him, syringe in hand and beamed yet another sunny smile his way. "What? Don't want me getting too close to your little boyfriend? Afraid of a little competition?" Seth only blinked placidly up at the nurse and plastering a bright grin to his pale lips, his voice purred with a slow liquid venom. "Girl please, you don't have a chance in fucking hell with him. It's not only that he's gay, it just so happens that he deserves someone a whole hell of a lot better than your stupid ass, so I suggest you just back the hell off."
She looked shocked, but only for a brief second before violent anger stormed her grey eyes. With a soft snarl she slipped to Seth's side with off putting silence, before pushing the needle into his wrist roughly, ignore Seth sudden cry of pain. "You're going to have to leave or turn away, I'm not allowed to administrate drugs in the presence of persons not immediately related to our...patient." She waited patiently until Aiden turned away and skulked to the window, her fingers tweaking the needle in the vein of his wrist slightly before suddenly pushing the plunger to the hilt of the syringe. Seth gasped out softly and squirmed softly atop the mattress as the chill of the morphine invaded his veins, his voice rasped out in a soft, barely audible whisper. "Untie me and I wouldn't say a word to anyone about your...oh what would this be called? malpractice or harassment?" Nurse Bitch looked slightly shocked that Seth would go that far and so she reluctantly began to unlace his limbs from the thickly padded bonds that held him to the bed before frowning up at him wordlessly. "Stay in bed and not a word about this to anyone." Without another word she turned on her heel and left with a slam of the door.
Seth waited patiently until the door was closed and the nurse drifted away, a devilish smile tainting his lips as he inched towards the foot of the bed, careful not to attract Aiden's attention away from where he stood at the window with his back facing Seth's bed. Crouching cautiously on the edge of the hospital bed Seth slowly began pulling various IVs from his wrists and arms and hesitantly beginning to unhook various monitors and pads stuck haphazardly over his pale body. Glancing quickly towards the door to make sure Nurse Bitch wasn't still hovering and making sure he was being a good little boy Seth quickly launched into his little...'scheme'. "OHMIGODAIDENWATCHOUT!" he suddenly squealed in a loud, jumbled rush of words and as the other boy whirled about wide eyed and frenzied Seth launched himself off of the mattress in a swirl of papery hospital linens and pale arms and legs. Giggling uncontrollably, Seth latched himself to Aiden's frail upper body and squealed as they suddenly tumbled towards the slightly off white flooring below in an awkward tangle of arms and legs.
Still laughing maniacally, Seth curled slightly around Aiden––who had somehow managed to end up on top of him–– a cool, white finger absently prodding the boy's cheek as he shivered faintly against the floor tiles. "Don't say it," Seth murmured with a soft peal of laughter, squirming slightly so that he was sitting up and cradling Aiden in his lap. "I warned you. he finally finished with a delighted series of giggles, giving a playful growl as Aiden attempted to worm his way from his lap, his arms tightening his hold on the other boy. "Nuh, be still for once, dorkus." Seth growled quietly into Aiden's ear before nipping lightly at the boy's earlobe and nuzzling the boy's cheek reassuringly, trying his damndest to keep Aiden from flipping out and thinking he was going to kill him. "Don't. Move... Let me do something for a minute." he murmured absently, his cheek nuzzled against Aiden's shoulder in a frail attempt to keep the other boy quiet. "Please trust me Aide..." Seth's arm's slowly slid away from the boy's hips as he quietly slipped out from beneath the other boy, giggling slightly as he glanced over at Aiden slyly before suddenly pouncing on the other boy with a loud squeal, his fingers running over the other boy's ribs playfully. "OH MY FUCKING GOD TICKLE ATTACK, BEOTCH!"
ooc: oh. my. fucking. god. it's so little. [gigglepoint] BAHAHA. that could sound so wrong... but yeah. it's actually done. I'M SORRY. D: it's not my fault! ...okaythat'salie. BAHAH. but if you need me to add some more on there, i can probably whip something up and slap it up there. OHOHOH. i decided against the original surprise because I didn't want aiden to have like a panic attack. so sorry for that. so much hype, so little good stuff. DD:

don’t try to fix me, i’m not broken; hello, i’m the lie living for you so you can hide, don’t cry.
Aiden reached up quietly and pushed his hair out of his eyes, the lower lids red and swollen from the previous sob festival at the park and from lack of rest. In the waiting room had been his first taste of however unsatisfactory sleep for a few nights now, and, while he was usually okay with only getting a few hours’ sleep, it was starting to gnaw at his nerves. This situation wasn’t helping, either, and it was all he could do to keep from exploding up at little miss land whale, and or, going into a panic attack and dying on the floor. Well, that didn’t sound too bad, but hey, all he wanted was, in reality, a little bit of peaceful sleep and for this little.. mess he’d caused for Seth to be over. He glanced toward the other boy as he spoke, a small amount of confusion etching across his pale face. “Technically, no, it’s not.. If I would’ve just left you alone, you wouldn’t have tried to pull the stitches out. But, you know me, first class fuck-up twenty-two years running.” Aiden said softly, shrugging a bit and glancing worriedly at the other boy. He seemed flushed more than normal for just being upset, but, then again, how was Aiden to know? He wasn’t a doctor. Hell, he didn’t even have a right to be a human, let alone a living one, what makes you think he’d be able to tell this from that? It was worrying him, a bit, but he still kept his distance from the thin mattress, his teeth gnawing at the inside of his cheek. Silly Aiden.
"I–I'm sorry y-you–oh fuck– had to put up with this shit..." Aiden blinked and tipped his head to the side in light confusion, trying to piece a meaning together for Seth’s almost awkwardly spoken words. No matter what damage it would do, he pretended to ignore what the other boy had said, still confused, and glanced at him, noticing the blatant look of pain. Maybe the land whale had accidentally given him something other than the morphine he was obviously ordered to receive? Maybe too low a dose? …Or, just maybe, it was wearing off. Wow, he really couldn’t think straight today, could he? He’d noticed these signs before with both Brendin and Kieran when they’d been in the hospital for one stupid stunt or another– but it seemed odd to him, for some reason, and he wasn’t quite sure why. Gripping his shirt tightly, Aiden pondered moving closer to the bed only briefly before deciding to stay where he was. That was all Seth needed– a boy who was, at the moment, too scared to do anything but shake close to him. Aiden didn’t even want to be close to himself, (how bad was that?) and so he had a feeling it was the same with the other boy. He looked up as Seth suddenly spoke, looking toward the direction he’d nodded to and giving a light nod of his own in response. He was seriously tempted to get the jacket, but he remained where he was, choosing to rather let himself freeze. It was mostly fear, anyway, but the sudden rise of gooseflesh on his forearms was more so the air conditioner’s fault. Damned thing.
Aiden stood and watched as Seth continued to squirm against the sheets, wishing that he could do something to help the other boy but not wanting to bring the land whale back into the room. He knew Seth didn’t like her– with what he’d overheard when he had entered the room told him that much– and so there wasn’t much else he could do by way of trying to comfort the other boy. To Aiden, it seemed pretty much impossible. As Seth began to speak, he expected a long, rather quietly vehement speech, but strangely, that wasn’t so– a thanks? Aiden blinked quietly, glancing at the floor and shaking his head. Why was Seth thanking him? He wouldn’t have even had to be at the hospital today if it wasn’t for him. He gave a soft shiver and figured it was best not to fight anymore, his chin tipped toward his chest as he looked at the oddly tiled floor. He wasn’t sure what to say, especially since this wasn’t what he expected– and then it dawned on him. It was a cover-up. Seth may not have known how easily manipulated he was when he was frightened, but he must have been damn sure trying– it hurt Aiden to think this way about Seth, he really didn’t want to; it was just.. he’d been through it all before, understand. Aiden started to shake and he tried to slow his rapidly beating heart, releasing his now slightly crumpled shirt in exchange for his biceps and squeezing hard. Pain kept him focused. “I-If your that worried about him, which I g-guess you rightfully should be? then w-why were you planning on killing yourself anyway? You sh-should be happy, I mean.. I-I don’t know, you’re just confusing m-me,” Aiden said, his gaze concentrated hard on the scuffed floor. To him, the younger boy was making no sense at all– if he was as in love as he claimed, shouldn’t he have been happy? Why the suicide attempts? He could gather the one today– that was Aiden’s fault, and he had readily admitted it quite a few times– but.. not the previous ones.
"A-Aiden? You don't think I'm going to hurt you, do you?" Uh-oh. Aiden had been busted. What the hell was he supposed to say to that, even though, for some reason, he really did think Seth was going to hurt him? It was so, so stupid– he knew the other boy wouldn't do it purposely (or, so he hoped) but he couldn't get over the sudden fear of the younger boy beating him senseless. He wouldn't have blamed him, but still, his unneeded horror wasn't making this situation easier. "I-I know that you won't, but I knew the same about w-what's his face.. I d-don't want to be scared of you, it's just th-that after the shit I pulled today, I wouldn't blame you if you did try to b-beat the fuck out of me." He said softly, unable to say Kieran's name again. He was tired of hearing it, seriously. But as he spoke, Aiden realized how contradictory he sounded- he didn't want Seth to kill him, and yet, he wouldn't blame him if he tried? Uh, yeah, you're a retard, Aiden, my dear. He looked up quietly as he heard Seth speak again, chancing a look at the other boy's face before returning his gaze to the floor. My, he really was hopeless. "I don't know. No, you haven't, b-but that's not my point, Seth–" Aiden cut himself off as panic constricted his chest, tears on the verge of falling as he tried to ease himself into cool, uncaring mode. Wasn't working. And so, instead, he took a deep breath, making himself look toward Seth as the boy spoke again and finding him picking at the sheets. Oh, how harmless he was! How could Aiden be scared of that? Quite easily, quite easily. Short kids packed a punch– he knew that much, because he was a short kid. Duh, of course he knew! Dumbdumb.
As the door lurched open, Aiden turned to glance at the intruder, crinkling his nose in distaste as he saw the nurse. She spoke, and anger tore through him, mostly because she had the nerve to question his fear– although he really doubted she understood what fear was until she looked into a mirror– and because she spoke the same words his mother had. Oh, hell no, bitch, it's on. She stepped toward him, and Aiden uncrossed his arms from his chest, his fingers flexing at his sides as he glared at her, almost daring her to come closer. "Yeah, and I would've expected more from a nurse who is supposed to be doing her job instead of acting like a fucking murderous maniac! Oh, but I forgot, you're a fucking land whale, not a nurse! Why the fuck are you here? Go flop back into the ocean and get out of my face before I call animal control, bitch." Oh, wow. That was a surprising change of pace, wasn't it? It felt good to tear into someone for being a douchebag– he needed to remember to do it more often– and, in dealing with her, his unnatural fear of Seth lessened. For a minute. She had since turned back around to brandish the syringe at Seth as she spoke, and, all of a sudden, Aiden felt like throwing her back into the sea himself. He would have, would she not have broken every bone in his body from just trying to lift her. Eww. "You? Bitch, please. Even a straight guy would turn gay if it was between you and him, because honestly, land whale, you need to take the stick out of your ass and then maybe you'd be kind of okay if you turned off the ugly switch and decided to be a fuckin' normal human being!" Damn, Aiden was on a roll. He glanced toward Seth as the other boy spoke, an eyebrow raised in his direction– that was probably the opposite of when Aiden had expected him to say, but hell, everyone needed to take a shot at land whale, it made you feel better. It was horrible to feel better at someone else's expense, but fuck, she deserved it!
Aiden sneered at the nurse as she spoke, swallowing hard and edging toward the window so that she could give Seth his 'medication'. Pff, at this rate, she was probably trying to poison the poor boy. ...Uh-oh. The door slammed and Aiden jumped, shaking his head lightly and pushing his hair out of his eyes. He definitely wasn't expecting what happened next, and, as he heard the almost shrill tones of Seth's voice, he whirled around. It didn't matter, though, since he was basically tackled to the floor with the force of Seth's lunge. Oh, fuck. He gave a sharp yelp– from the surprise, the rising fear, and, of course, from pain as he briefly collided with the floor– staring at Seth wide-eyed and barely breathing. He had a couple of questions at this point, regardless of how badly he'd been scared of Seth before– for one, was Seth trying to kill him or was this some sort of sick, twisted little pleasure?! And, for two, how the fuck had he managed to end up on top of the other boy, given the circumstances?! At the sudden poke to his cheek, it was all Aiden could do to not tweak and go into a panic attack– which was closer than it looked, to tell the truth– or have a heart attack right on the floor. With the way Seth was acting– or maybe it was the morphine– it seemed that was what he wanted to happen. If it wouldn't have been so.. stupid, Aiden probably would've fainted or something. No, no, no, he'd pass out. That's the cooler way to do things. :D "Don't say it, I warned you." ...You call 'OH MY GOD AIDEN WATCH OUT!' a warning?! Pshaw, yeah, that's a warning. And Aiden's middle name was Betty. Which, of course, it wasn't.
Squirming around and trying almost desperately to get out of Seth's grasp, Aiden gave a soft whimper, his stomach churning slightly from from panic. He didn't know what was going on, for fuck's sake, and he was terrified, as it was– it was surprising that he hadn't tweaked out and had a heart attack yet. "Nuh, be still for once, dorkus." Be still? Be still?! What, did Seth think he was a super hero or something? HAHAHA. As if. Licking his lips lightly, Aiden forced himself to sit still, his eyes squeezed shut and his little body shaking as he felt the bite to his earlobe. ...Uh. Change of pace, much? Or maybe it just seemed that way to Aiden? Yeah, that was a better chance. His breathing was still labored as he tried to calm down, although the effort was futile– he couldn't get the image of Seth trying to beat the hell of him out of his mind, for some reason. "Please trust me Aide..." Trust him? Bahahaha! To be truthful, Aiden did trust him– he was just.. you know.. terrified of him. Yup, that's the basis of the story, kids. As the other boy's arm disappeared from around his hips, Aiden thought the torture would be over– but that wouldn't be happening any time soon; pshaw, honestly, it was Seth for fuck's sake. The relentless little pretty boy. Duh. Upon being pounced on, Aiden gave a yelp like whimper, his eyes widening and looking at Seth as if he was absolutely crazy as he heard the boy's last words. Tickle attack? Oh fuck, Aiden was screwed. "Nuhh-uh, no, AHA stop itttt!" He said, his voice whining slightly as he tried to pull himself out from under Seth, although it wasn't exactly working– he was still pretty oddly scared of the other boy, and yet he was getting tickled as if he was some little four year old. Aiden tried almost desperately not to laugh, but hell, no one can't not laugh in that situation.
Oh, don't worry. Seth was going to get his. Mwahahaha. You know. Whenever Aiden finally get's over his little fearfest. Pshaw. Nuhh. Don't see that happening soon. Then again.. Aiden had his ways of payback. ;3
bahahahaha. doneeee. :D

I may not be perfect, but I've always been true. I may not be worthy in your eyes.
Seth frowned softly as he watched Aiden, his body stilling against the pale sheets, his fingers jerking softly with unseen torture as he blinked with an oddly serene sense about him. He knew that tweaking out in a hospital bed was probably doing nothing to soothe Aiden's worry filled mind, and it sure as hell wasn't helping to calm the other boy down any. It wasn't like it hurt that bad, anyways, aside from the insistent little jabs of sharp, unignorable pain. Seth's leg jerked softly beneath the mountain of blankets piled high atop his thin body and Seth shot a surprised look in it's direction before his entire back was suddenly bombarded with what felt like the tips of a thousand scalpels. With a soft gasp, Seth suddenly arched up off the mattress with a low whine, tears welling hotly in the lower lids of his hazel eyes, the soft florescent lighting of his room causing the recessed purpling rings beneath his eyes to stand out prominently, his sure sign of no sleep. Soon the pain recessed and Seth squirmed back down into his small wallow in the mattress, his eyes sliding shut slowly as a delicate yawn stretched his mouth, his fists curling into small fists as he stretched softly against the papery bed linens. "I'm sorry this happened, I feel like one big pity part and I hate it."Seth blinked his eyes open tiredly, his gaze slipping to where Aiden stood shivering a few yards away from his bedside, a soft frown twisting his pale lips down into a delicate curl. Why was Aiden so far away? Seth's fingers slowly unfurled like a daisy's petals in the early morning dew, stretching slowly towards Aiden's hand, knowing damn well that he wouldn't be able to reach the other boy, but not being able to help the urge to want to reach out and touch him. It was ultimately like a velvet roped off piece of art, the inability to touch it making it that much more alluring.
“I-If your that worried about him, which I g-guess you rightfully should be? then w-why were you planning on killing yourself anyway? You sh-should be happy, I mean.. I-I don’t know, you’re just confusing m-me,” Seth gave a soft sigh, his lungs crumpling in defeat as he shrugged helplessly on the bed. Seth's finger's continued to pick at the blankets abashedly, his slender fingers absently jerking on occasion as if they were attached to marionette strings, his lips pressing solidly together in a thin line as he fought away the insistent pain, tear prickling the backs of his eyes, the force of Aiden's words pushing all other thoughts form his muddled little mind, and for once he was able to speak without that damned stuttering. "I know I'm not making sense, it's hard too when I'm so fucked up I don't even know what or who to listen to anymore. One part of me is screaming that I'm not worth the pain I cause and that Oliver deserves someone so much better than me––someone who knows how to take care of him––" he whimpered gently as he wiggled softly against the course sheets, his lips twisting to the side faintly as he rolled his shoulders into the mattress painfully, a soft whimper falling from his lips as he suddenly curled his fingers tightly about the sheets, his eyes pushed closed tightly before he sucked in several deep breaths into his lungs and continuing. "but then there's this one little part of me that's so quiet I sometimes forget it's there that keeps telling me that I'm just being silly and it's going to hurt Oli that much more if I do keep trying to do away with myself and that Oliver needs me and I need him. I mean, I'm unbelievably happy when I'm with him, it's like no one else in the world matters, but when I'm away from him I get so scared and realize that I'm probably hurting him more than helping him and it makes me want to drink and pop pills and do all this other shit that makes me so irrational that I just end up doing all of this stupid shit like slitting my throat." Seth sighed helplessly, the shaggy locks of black hair billowing upwards softly in the small draft of air that fell from Seth's lips, his eyelids surprisingly heavy. "Twenty-four hours away from Oli was all it took for me to believe he would be better without me, and that I didn't deserve to have a boy as perfect as him." Seth breathed softly as he squirmed faintly against the pins and needles feeling that prodded against his pale skin; soft red had slowly began to creep down his cheeks, blending into his neck and slowly flushing the pale skin of his chest peeking above the low v-neck of the hospital gown. "Twenty-four seconds with him and I'll regret every single fucking thing I've done to hurt him."
"I-I know that you won't, but I knew the same about w-what's his face.. I d-don't want to be scared of you, it's just th-that after the shit I pulled today, I wouldn't blame you if you did try to b-beat the fuck out of me." Seth's fingers froze amid their act of half mindedly twisting the blankets around his middle finger, his lips mouthing blind motions as he searched for the words he desperately needed to say to make Aiden understand. How could Aiden actually think he would hurt him? And an even better question: how could Aiden possibly compare him to his boyfriend? Seth had never even in the vaguest sense acted abusively towards Aiden during the time the two boys had first met in that old ramshackle mansion or throughout their fast budding relationship. The only thing he'd ever shown towards the other boy was unrelenting affection. Seth whined softly and stretched as far towards the other boy as he possibly could, his slender fingers outstretched towards the other boy futilely. "Please don't compare me to Kieran." Seth murmured softly, his eyes dropped to the slightly off white tiles as he curled his arm back onto the mattress, his lower lip trembling faintly as he curled slightly beneath the blankets, his flushed cheek pressing into the sterile white of the pillow case. "I-I don't know what I did b-but I'm so sorry, if you honestly f-feel that way about me you can leave. Don't feel o-obligated to stay."
Seth squirmed softly under the faint scrutiny of Aiden's gaze, his teeth sinking into his lower lip quietly as he struggled not to draw anymore attention to his blatant pain. Seth whimpered softly and sunk deeper under the mountains of blankets as if it would turn Aiden's judgmental gaze away, his attention turned childishly to the pale blue blankets. Chancing a glance up, Seth sighed softly as he noticed Aiden once more studying the floor tiles as if expecting them to transform into some odd monster and swallow him whole. Not like he probably would have minded the way he was acting around Seth, that is. "I don't know. No, you haven't, b-but that's not my point, Seth–" Seth continued to pick absently at the bed sheets, his teeth gnawing absently at his bottom lip before he heaved a helpless groan, his head falling back onto the pillow. "Then what is the point Aiden? I can't help if I don't know what's making you so scared of me! And don't go off and tell me that I don't have to go around and try to make everything all better because I'm obviously the whole problem here." Seth whimpered helplessly as he squirmed softly atop the mattress, ignoring the soft nauseous feeling that welled in the pit of his stomach with the sudden movement, his fingers curled tightly about a section of the blankets. "Aiden, listen to me, no matter how pissed off or hurt I am, I will never hurt you. And if you're worried about Oli, you shouldn't be; he won't hurt you, I promise." Seth giggled faintly at the thought of poor Oliver trying to harm anything other than a measly little fly, that poor boy was so goddamn innocent that Seth couldn't help but grin faintly at the thought of Oliver ducked out behind the luxurious, rock star-esque couch, flyswatter and bug spray clutched in hand. God he loved Oli.
Seth glanced between the two uneasily as the atmosphere of the room suddenly became tense, attempting to distract Aiden's attention away from the nurse Seth quietly rolled his shoulders into the mattress and whined just loud enough for Aiden to hear. Seth's teeth worried away at his bottom lip as the nurse took a slow step in Aiden's direction, and in response, Aiden's arms lowered away from his chest, the boy's fingers curling into small fists at his side challengingly. Uh-oh. "Yeah, and I would've expected more from a nurse who is supposed to be doing her job instead of acting like a fucking murderous maniac! Oh, but I forgot, you're a fucking land whale, not a nurse! Why the fuck are you here? Go flop back into the ocean and get out of my face before I call animal control, bitch." Seth glanced nervously at the nurse, his eyes nervously switching between the pair. What the fuck was with everyone? His life wasn't some fucking drama class. "You? Bitch, please. Even a straight guy would turn gay if it was between you and him, because honestly, land whale, you need to take the stick out of your ass and then maybe you'd be kind of okay if you turned off the ugly switch and decided to be a fuckin' normal human being!" At Aiden's words, Seth nearly choked on his laughter, his hazel eyes widening at the faint giggles that still managed to stir the uneasy air, his lips clamped tightly together. "Uhm, hi there? Yeah, you, I'm the one strapped to a hospital bed not him, so back the fuck off. And as for you... j-just chill, okay?" He murmured as he pouted quietly towards the pair, his attention shifting from one person to the next, his teeth edging into his lower lip as he glanced back up at Aiden. "She's not worth it," he mumbled softly before nervously glancing back up at Aiden and adding a single, soft spoken word: "Liebe." Seth knew nothing about what he was speaking in and even less about what it meant, hopefully it hadn't been some horrible name that Aiden had called him in the park. That would have been lovely yeah–– not ––but he couldn't have his only source of company being chucked out of the hospital by some fat ass bitch.
With a small whine Seth reluctantly watched Aiden turn away and begin to edge towards the window without another word, lifting his head and letting it fall dramatically back down into the clean white pillow, a face made playfully as the so called 'land whale' nurse came at him with that stupid fucking needle. To Seth, it was almost like one of those horror flicks where the demented nurse stands with a light to their back, holding a syringe filled with some clear mystery liquid and you knew for certain that the poor, helpless actor would surely die. Only those nurses never happened to be fucking whales, but hell, she had the demented act down to a science. Seth tried to remain as quiet as humanly possible as Nurse Bitch ruthlessly injected cold morphine into his veins, his face contorted into a blatant look of pain as he carelessly pulled the needle out and began the quick task of undoing the straps holding Seth to the bed. After she was finished and left the room with a slam of the door, Seth sat perched at the foot of the bed, absently rubbing the small, raw circles on his wrists and ankles while watching the quite bustle of people wandering through the hall through the small window on the door. Stupid bitch.
The next thing he knew, Seth found himself in a giggling heap on the floor, clinging to Aiden like there was no tomorrow, his face buried into the boy's shoulder blade briefly. Wait–– how the hell had he ended up on bottom? Seth blinked ingeniously up Aiden, his head tipped to the side like a curious puppy as he gazed up at the other boy through a set of dark lashes, one hand absently rising up to tuck a lock of hair away behind Aiden's ear as the other boy sat like a finicky bunny in his lap. Seth wormed around quietly beneath Aiden before stilling as he noticed Aiden's trembling, his arms coiled about the boy's waist gently, his cheek pressing against Aiden's shoulder uncomfortably. "What? Why are you looking at me like that? It's not like I just threw you down and had my way with you." He huffed playfully before reaching and firmly, yet gently, placed his hands on either side of Aiden's face and tugged his head downwards gently. Stretching upwards faintly, Seth placed a delicate peck to the tip of Aiden's nose, his fingers slowly rising to quietly push away the hair from Aiden's eyes wordlessly. Blinking softly Seth suddenly shook his head and dropped his hands away from Aiden's face, a soft sigh falling from his lips as he stretched somewhat uncomfortably beneath Aiden, his teeth edging sharply into his lower lip. "Look, I don't know what I did to make you think I'm just going to beat the shit out of you, but trust me, that's the last thing I ever want to do." Seth whined softly as he squirmed softly against the cold tile of the floor before trailing off in a series of playful giggles as Aiden stared wide-eyed and panicked at his finger, looking very much like he was on the verge of having a nervous breakdown or maybe just a heart attack. Still giggling Seth stretched upwards and licked Aiden's cheek in a half thought out gesture of affection, his nose scrunched up faintly as he listened to what he assumed to be words Aiden was supposed to be thinking. What? I think it's kind of cute, Aiden Betty Jacobs." Seth snorted playfully before yawning and stretching like a sleepy house cat, his chin resting heavily against Aiden's shoulder. Why was he so sleepy?
Seth kept his arms wrapped about Aiden’s hips firmly as the other boy squirmed desperately in his lap, his nose nuzzled tenderly into Aiden’s shoulder blade as he cooed softly to the other boy in an attempt to calm him down. As Aiden forced himself to sit still, Seth shifted slightly beneath him, his eyes squeezed shut tightly as he hooked his chin over the boy’s shoulder blade, absently nuzzling at Aiden’s earlobe as he pulled him closer into his chest. What had gotten into Aiden to make him so afraid that Seth was just going to go ballistic on him? “Shh, Aide, calm down.
”Seth purred slowly into Aiden’s ear, at least attempting to calm the frantic boy down before he decided to go through with his little ‘plan’ that would more than likely sign his own death sentence. As Aiden’s breathing retrieved some sort of rhythm and his heart rate had settled to something remotely human, Seth slid slowly out from under him. With a demure smile Seth sized the other boy up from the corner of his eye before suddenly turning and pouncing on Aiden, his fingertips burrowing playfully into Aiden’s rib cage as he squealed delightfully. "Nuhh-uh, no, AHA stop itttt!" As Aiden whined from beneath him with the occasional giggle, Seth grinned triumphantly and slowly stopped tickling the poor boy, a soft causing him to stretch languidly as he blinked curiously down at Aiden before reaching out, his index finger pressed tenderly to Aiden’s nose. “ That’s more like it, Aide, smile more often; it makes you look adorable.” With another soft yawn Seth slowly crawled from atop of Aiden, and glancing down at the other boy e slowly crawled towards the chair where the nurses had piled his clothes. Seth stood on his knees as he searched wordlessly through the heap of clothing before triumphantly holding up a small, battered Tylenol bottle and giggling gently. Snagging Aiden’s jacket he once more crawled back to the other boy and handed Aiden is jacket and the small bottle consisting of an illegal salad of pills ranging from everything to Adderall to Xanax. “ It’s been a long day and I’ve not helped. Don’t overdose and we’ll be fine,” he murmured absently as he curled sleepily against Aiden’s side, his head tucked away beneath the other boy’s arm as he smiled absently up at Aiden before yawning and squeezing his eyes closed against a gentle wave of nausea. “ I’m gonna miss you…” ooc; BAHHH. it's done. but it's short and it sucks. sorry. v.v [/blockquote]

something’s wrong, trying to conquer these fears i thought were gone. and its been so long, i’m dying to live in a world i don’t belong.
"I know I'm not making sense, it's hard too when I'm so fucked up I don't even know what or who to listen to anymore. One part of me is screaming that I'm not worth the pain I cause and that Oliver deserves someone so much better than me—someone who knows how to take care of him—" Aiden furrowed his eyebrows slightly in confusion, hearing Seth’s words but not exactly comprehending them. He didn’t understand. Yes, the poor little German boy was confused once again and left with nothing to say– but was that really unusual? No. It happened all the time in situations where he needed to say something at least remotely comforting but was, for some reason, terrified almost beyond belief. Yes, Aiden really was that stupid– or, not stupid: maybe just living in the past. Sure. Go for that one. Oh Jesus, just stop thinking already. He’s talking. Seriously, keep attention long enough to at least hear what he’s saying, my god you have the attention span of a dead goldfish, I swear! Even he had to agree with the demeaning little voice in the back of his head, but that wasn’t unusual either, seeing as how it was right, the majority of the time. Sighing softly, Aiden raised his eyes to glance at Seth in an almost daring show of forced bravery– though still refusing to lock gazes, as per usual– and spoke softly. “The little voice you keep forgetting about is right, and you know it is. You have the chance to be happy– so take it. I’m guessing he’s the same way around you; so if you suddenly end that, imagine what it would do to him.. Nothing is fair in life– you and I both know that. But if the chance presents itself, you shouldn’t try to think that you don’t deserve it.” He said quietly, knowing that his mindless babble of words probably made no sense– or maybe they made the most sense that any words ever could. But that was doubtful and Aiden knew it. He was nothing but an ex-kleptomaniac with a nasty habit for attracting abusive people. What kind of sense could his words make? None that he was aware of.
As Seth spoke again after mouthing incoherent words and giving a whine like a wounded puppy, Aiden’s eyes filled with tears and his jaw dropped in pained.. what? realization? confusion? He had never meant to compare Seth to Kieran– there was such a difference between the two boys, but only in how they acted in their anger trips. One was murderous, the other was snappy like a girl with major PMS and no Midol within a one hundred foot radius. Three guesses to which trait belonged to which boy. He closed his mouth and glanced at the floor, his chest heaving quietly as he tried to think of a way to explain. Of course, there wasn’t a way. He’d made another mistake– go him. “I-I didn’t—i-it wasn’t meant like t-that—” And cue that dreadful stuttering. Oh, Aiden was hopeless. He shut his mouth and looked toward the oddly patterned tile as he tried to breathe, hoping that, this time, the stutter would be gone when he tried to speak again. And he was half successful– surprisingly– in his attempt. “I only meant that I knew you wouldn’t.. But at the same time, back then I knew that Kieran wouldn’t, either, unless I’d pissed him off or-or did something that set him off. I wasn’t comparing you to him, I-I don’t know what the hell I think anymore, everything I say just comes out wrong and if I would just keep my mouth shut like I tell myself to, maybe nothing like this would happen anymore. Maybe-maybe none of it would have happened in the first place.. Doubtful, but just maybe..” He said in a wild rush of trembling words and tears on the verge of sobs, shaking his head quietly in an attempt to chill himself out before he broke down in a heap on the floor and melted into nothingness. “You didn’t do anything, Seth, that’s the point.. It’s what he did, hell it’s what they did! I know its fucked up that every time I piss someone off I think they’re going to hit me, but the only people I’ve known have either hit me or left me in the dirt. Half the time, I wish Kieran would have accidentally killed me but then I realize that I was ‘put here’ for a reason and that’s to weed out all the abusive assholes from the nice ones first hand for other people. I’m like a test toy, Seth, I know that and that’s all I’ll ever be.” Aiden said, his words almost meshed together as he spoke quickly in an attempt to calm his fried nerves, his chest heaving as he tried to catch his breath.
"Aiden, listen to me, no matter how pissed off or hurt I am, I will never hurt you. And if you're worried about Oli, you shouldn't be; he won't hurt you, I promise." Aiden sighed, glancing at Seth as the boy tried to fight away whatever pain he was feeling and wishing silently that he could help– but, since he could do nothing but stand there and look pretty stupid, there was nothing he could do. The nurse was too murderous for words and there was no way Aiden would get her– unless it was a different nurse. But from what little he could see, the only nurse on duty was Seth’s current one, and that was no good. But it was too late as she came back into the room and words were exchanged, Aiden glaring daggers at her and her tan-ish complexion turning white and then red as she heard his insults questioning her status as a human. He barely heard Seth as he started to speak, glaring too harshly at the woman to notice, but glanced toward the bound boy as he heard ‘just chill’ escape his lips. Chill? Aiden was supposed to chill when a murderous land whale was going to try and– wait, what had Seth just said? Aiden furrowed his eyebrows as he looked at Seth, only backing down from the one-sided war of words with the nurse when he heard the other boy speak. As far as Aiden had known, the other boy didn’t speak German– hell, on bad days he couldn’t even speak English ;]– and it was slightly odd to hear him speaking it, even if it was only one word. Liebe. Uh.. “What’s the matter, hun, don’t speak German? Pathetic, he said lo—” Aiden glared at her, cutting her off with a quick ‘shut up, hund!’ before glancing back at Seth. Seth didn’t need to know what it meant, although it was kind of obvious that he’d figure it out one way or another– he was a smart kid. Sometimes. Bahaha. Still, Aiden couldn’t help but look at Seth with a confused look in his eyes, only remembering that he’d called the other boy that in the park before he’d past out as he turned to walk toward the window so that the nurse could administrate Seth’s ‘medicine’. For all he knew right then, she’d switched morphine for cyanide and was planning to kill them both. He wouldn’t have been surprised.
The real surprise came when, after hearing the door slam after a series of quiet whispers, he was ‘warned’ and tackled to the ground upon turning around. His small body was shaking like a leaf during a tornado as he glanced frightfully down at the other boy, whimpering quietly as Seth reached up and pushed his fringe behind his ear. Or maybe it was just a set of strands– Aiden was too scared to tell, but neither did he care– it would move eventually, anyway, right? Duh. He heard Seth speak and sent his wide-eyed gaze toward Seth’s, barely refraining from bursting into tears like a little bitch and fainting passing out as the other boy pulled his face down to plant a kiss on the tip of his nose. “I t-told you b-before that i-it i-isn’t you,” Aiden said in a hushed voice, his eyes wide and trained on Seth index finger as if the other boy had an invisible blade hidden in that particular finger and was aiming to slit his throat or something. Instead, in a weird turn of events, he felt a warmly wet tongue slide over his cheek and couldn’t help but give a whine, barely holding back a nervous giggle. Psh. What a loser, eh? "What? I think it's kind of cute, Aiden Betty Jacobs." Despite his irrational fear of Seth, Aiden quirked an eyebrow, wondering how the boy had delved into his thoughts to retrieved that little bit of information he’d been thinking. Uh, weird much? Hell yuh. Aiden blinked quietly and continued to shiver, wondering if he’d, somehow, be able to slip out of the other boy’s grip.
Uh, yeah, that was likely.
Aiden still fidgeted in Seth’s lap, trying desperately to get out of the other boy’s grip and return to standing in the middle of the floor, or backed into a corner– hell, maybe even hide in one of those little cabinet-y things. He knew it was probably hurting Seth’s feelings that he was so intent on getting out of his grasp, but when Aiden was terrified, he was terrified, and he would do nearly anything to get out of the situation. It wasn’t as if they were going to ever see much of each other again, anyway, right? But, somehow, he forced himself to stop shaking and at least tried to sit still– although his slender body was still trembling– and glanced at Seth as if the other boy was on crack or something close to it as he told him to calm down once more. Calm down? Right about now, ‘calm’ and ‘down’ were words that just did not fit together at all in Aiden’s vocabulary. It was then, after he’d regained a little bit of composure, that he realized Seth had slid himself out from under him. And pouncing on him, of course– would you expect anything less? Aiden gave a frightened yelp as Seth’s fingers began to poke and prod at his slightly more noticeable rib cage, unable to keep from laughing although he desperately tried to. In his book, this was not a time for laughing, but it seemed like the other boy was doing all he could to get him to laugh, and or, have a heart attack. “That’s more like it, Aide, smile more often; it makes you look adorable.” Aiden could’ve strangled the other boy, but he wouldn’t have got very far– at the moment all he would have to do was even look at Aiden like he was going to yell and he would flip out and, quite possibly, flop onto the floor. He gave another soft whimper as he finally regained his breath– again– his gaze still averting the other boy’s as he lay rigid, trying to keep from shaking. It wouldn’t have been as horribly as before, but still, faintly shaking was still shaking, nevertheless.
Seth pulled himself from Aiden’s body and when he did, Aiden scrambled back slightly, sitting in an upright position with his arms tightly surrounding his knees and his eyes almost cautiously watching the other boy from under the thick mass of fringe. He couldn’t help it– it was habit, but even so, it was making him feel bad. As his jacket was held out for him to take, he took it quietly and rested it over his knees, still quite freezing but not really wanting to put it on. It would’ve been a waste of time, anyway. He glanced curiously at the bottle, hearing what Seth said and unable to help glancing at him oddly. Don’t overdose? What the fuck, on Tylenol that Aiden couldn’t even take? He lightly pulled the top off of the bottle and glanced inside, his eyes widening incredulously as he saw the differently colored pills including what seemed to be his only saving grace now– Xanax. His mouth almost began to water as he imagined the feeling of the drip that occurred when you snorted pills, but, before he could get any ideas, he shoved the top back onto the bottle and sat it down. Those were Seth’s. The only reason he’d take them would be to make sure the other boy wouldn’t try and kill himself on that batch of pills, but, even then, it would’ve been no use– there were a lot of drug dealers in Seattle. He shook his head slightly as he realized Seth had curled into his side, his eyebrows furrowing slightly as he heard the other boy speak. “There’s nothing to miss..” He said softly, shrugging a bit and glancing at the window quietly. It was true– Aiden was nothing to miss, he was just like every ex-homeless kid who’s life had semi-turned around. Psh, as if. Most ex-homeless kids were doing better than he was at this point, weren’t they? He just wasn’t the type of person you remembered after years– hell, even an hour– after any particular conversation.
wooooo! it's done, it sucks, but hey, it's finally done! :D yayaya! bedtime! x3

tell me what you want from me because i don't know exactly what you want me to be when there's no place left for me
“The little voice you keep forgetting about is right, and you know it is. You have the chance to be happy– so take it. I’m guessing he’s the same way around you; so if you suddenly end that, imagine what it would do to him.. Nothing is fair in life– you and I both know that. But if the chance presents itself, you shouldn’t try to think that you don’t deserve it.” Surprised at the truth in Aiden’s words, Seth could only manage to blink ingeniously up at the other boy, opening and closing his mouth like a mentally retarded goldfish trying to get high off of sharpie fumes. “But Aide…” he trailed off softly, knowing damn well the other boy was right, but he didn’t deserve happiness! Just when Aiden needed him the most, he’d flounced off and gotten himself arrested, and then to top it all off with a big mother fucking cherry he’d messed around and fallen head over heels in love with Oliver Alexandre Nathaniel Logan. Sniffling softly, Seth pouted piteously down at the blankets as he tried to think of a way to tell Aiden exactly what was killing him inside. “I shouldn’t deserve to be happy, I mean, right when I thought I had everything planned out perfectly, I screwed it all up. I had you back and I was happy; I was more than happy, I was fucking overjoyed.” Seth sighed softly and shook his head against the sheets, as if trying to get them to agree with just how badly he’d messed everything up. “But then I had to go and mess up everything I had with you because I got arrested at the mall and fell in love with Oli. I didn’t mean for it to happen!” he protested softly as he blinked away the tears welling in his lower lids before turning his head to surreptitiously wipe his nose on the shoulder of that silly hospital gown and hide the soft blush that crept across his cheeks. “I loved you, Aide, more than I’ve ever loved anyone else.”
Seth struggled to turn away from Aiden as the soft prickle of tears in the backs of his eyes turned into an insistent burn, but realizing it was hopeless, did the next best thing. Shaking his head he allowed his thick fringe to fall over his eyes in an attempt to hide the evidence of his tears, not like it would matter anyways, Aiden still wouldn’t look at him. “I-I didn’t—i-it wasn’t meant like t-that— I only meant that I knew you wouldn’t.. Maybe none of it would have happened in the first place.. Doubtful, but just maybe..” Trembling like a pitiful kitten, sobs continued to wrack his body silently, though beneath the mountain of blankets that had been piled atop him, the violent tremors cold have almost been mistaken for soft shivers.
Almost.
After several long minutes, Seth calmed his heartbroken sobs to a few mere sniffles, his hair matted down to his cheeks where tears had applied a gentle river of moisture, his head jerked roughly to the right in an attempt to clear his vision of the mass of cool black. “I-it’s not your fault, I-I guess I just should have been a better b-boyfriend when I had the ch-chance.” He managed to gasp out between soft, sobs, his fingers curled tightly about swatches of the chenille blankets as he forced himself to calm down, knowing that it probably wasn’t helping Aiden any for him to just lay here a sobbing mess. I’m like a test toy, Seth, I know that and that’s all I will ever be.” Seth’s breathing had long since caught in his throat as he listened to Aiden’s sermon, tears slipping down his pale cheeks as he fought with the war waging on between his heart and his mind. You didn’t do anything, Seth, remember? That’s the whole point, you left him in the dirt. With a miserable wail Seth burst into tears, his hands curled into small fists at his sides as he attempted to crawl away from himself, his body struggling against the thick straps that held him bed bound, his tears being tossed into the air as if he’d received his own death penalty. Aiden was right. Seth was no better than Kieran or any of the other boys he come to loathe.
––––––––––
Seth couldn’t help the soft peal of girlish laughter that fell from his lips at the peculiar look that Aiden shot his way as he took the battered Tylenol bottle from Seth’s trembling fingers. Honestly, it was his fault that he was still shaking; it had gotten to the point where he had absolutely no control of the soft tremors that continued to shake his body. Shaking his head softly, Seth sat back on his heels to watch Aiden as the other boy popped the open the bottle top, and cue doe eyes. Giggling softly Seth shook his head and absently pulled at his bottom lip as he blinked sleepily over at Aiden. Mm, a nap sounded awfully appealing right about…now. Seth tipped his head softly as he watched Aiden stare down at the rainbow of illegal pills that Seth had managed to acquire before slowly crawling towards the other boy. Once he reached Aiden’s side, Seth curled up wordlessly against the boy’s ribs as he shuddered softly, and with a soft whine, managed to worm his way beneath the other boy’s arm with a soft ‘hmph’ sound.
Click. Seth shot upright suddenly, his hazel eyes still clouded with the pretense of sleep as he glanced around befuddled before noticing the small bottle of pills sitting on the oddly tiled floors. Reaching out, Seth scooped the oversized ‘value size’ bottle into his hands and cradled it there for a moment before shrugging and uncapping it and cooing softly to the other boy though careful not to make Aiden believe he was pressuring him into anything. “Aide, if you need something to calm down, then take it.” Dumping a handful of pills into the basin of his palm Seth carefully fingered through the pills before plucking several light blue pills from the multicolored assortment of medication and dumping the rest back into the Tylenol bottle. After studying the variety of blue pills in his palm, Seth carefully extracted two and poured the rest back into the bottle before snapping the plastic lid back into place. Now which one was the Percocet, wasn’t it the round shaped one or was that Xanax? No, the round one was Xanax, and the oval one was Percocet? Right? Shrugging, Seth swallowed them both dry, making a face softly at the faint bitter taste that they left on his tongue before he slowly relaxed back down against Aiden’s side.
“There’s nothing too miss..” Seth snorted quietly and nuzzled his face softly into Aiden’s ribs, an arm hesitantly snuck around the boy’s midsection as he shifted around so that his head was pressed softly into Aiden’s stomach, hoping like hell that Aiden wouldn’t push him away. “Aiden, you always say that, but you just don’t get it. You mean more to me than nearly anyone else in the world.” Seth mumbled softly against the black fabric of Aiden’s shirt, his fingers curling around a small wrinkle in the cottony material. “When we were together––hell, even when we weren’t––you were always there for me, even when you probably didn’t want to be. I’m not going to make this into some sob story and try to tell you how you shouldn’t blame yourself, because none of this is your fault, but, Aiden, you’re not going to listen so I’m not going to waste our time. You’ve just got to remember one thing:” He whispered unevenly, his body shifting so that his back pressed softly against Aiden’s bent legs, a hand rising shakily to brush a stray lock of dark hair away from the other boy’s pale cheek. “you’re always going to mean something to me. You were probably the best thing that ever happened to me, and for that, you’re always going to be my snickers bar and I’m always going to be your fat kid, okay?” Seth giggled softly and shook his head gently before leaning forwards, a trembling palm cupping Aiden’s cheek tenderly as his lips swooped forward and placed a gentle peck to the tip of Aiden’s nose. “I love you, kid.”
Seth had been mumbling on about nothing, giggling softly every now and then as he remained leant back against Aiden’s legs, his gaze held on his twitching fingers, though ever so often he would work up the courage to sneak a look at Aiden’s face while a soft smile remained twitching on his lips when suddenly, a loud voice broke through the quiet one-sided conversation. “What do you mean ‘you can’t go in’?!” there was a short pause, just long enough for someone to get a quick word in before the voice billowed up again like angry wave. “To hell with visiting hours! If he’s in there I want to see him!” Seth stared ingeniously up at the door as he listened to the voice lingering just outside of his door, a soft frown tugging at his lips as he attempted to recognize the voice. It was so…familiar. Suddenly, a softer, more hesitant voice dared to break through the uncomfortable silence. “Wil, she’s going to eat youu. I wanna go home…Hey, wait, why are we here, anyways?” A bright smile suddenly lit Seth’s face as he grinned like a child on Christmas morning, squirming softly in place, Seth studied the door before turning his glaze imploringly towards Aiden, a devilish smile curling his lips. He knew he shouldn’t push Aiden too hard too fast, but he couldn’t resist the temptation.
“Hey Aide, you’re still single, right?”

i linger in the doorway of alarm clock screaming monsters calling my name. let me stay where the wind will whisper to me; where the raindrops, as they’re falling, tell a story.
Aiden’s eyes found the floor again, a soft sigh pushing passed his lips as he listened to Seth. The younger boy was never going to listen to him– they were so alike in the fact that neither would listen to the other; it was uncanny how their poor little minds worked– and so Aiden didn’t know whether to waste the time trying or to just let it go. Of course Seth deserved to be happy– he’d found all he wanted in his boyfriend (supposedly a boy named Oliver; Aiden wasn’t quite sure) and nothing that had happened in the past should have mattered. Aiden, especially. He let go of the fabric encasing his tiny body and let his left hand tousle the short, black strands of his hair, realizing, in the most inappropriate moment known to man, that he hadn’t even styled his hair. It wasn’t like it mattered, but, then again, Aiden was the type of person who noticed things that didn’t matter at exactly the wrong time. Shaking his head softly, he chanced a look at Seth and let another sigh spill from his lungs. “Listen to me.. I know it won’t do me any good to preach to you, because you’re still going to deny what I say even though you know it’s true– but I’m going to do it anyway. You know as well as I do that it doesn’t matter who you fell in love with. That’s not something you can control, at least, it isn’t as far as I know. Just.. Just be glad, know that you deserve every second of happiness you get. Sure, I know it’s hard to accept when everything is like.. well, when its like it is right now, but you know its true. You deserve it, he makes you happy, and that’s all that matters.” He said softly, his head tipped lightly to the side as he glanced towards Seth’s eyes in an attempt to make eye contact, although, a second later, the hazel irises flew to the floor. His eyebrows furrowed as he tried to discern one of the patterns in the tile, intentionally distracting himself when he heard Seth open his mouth to speak again– the past was the past, and it wasn’t going to be brought back any time soon.
Happening to glance toward Seth again after he’d wiped a few of the tears away and seeing the incessant shivers that seemed to shake the younger boy’s body, his lower lip began to tremble again and he wished that he wouldn’t have even spoken in the first place. Tears silently worked their way down his dampened cheeks again, his nose slowly turning red from the sudden influx of tears and his eyelids becoming swollen once more, and he looked toward the floor again, opening his mouth to speak. “I’m sorry…” he squeaked, his voice low and hoarse from the flood of tears washing down his face. Well, this is attractive, you fucking crybaby. Aiden gave a hiccup-y sigh as he wrapped his arms around his rib cage again, sniffling occasionally and trying desperately to shrink himself into a tiny puddle on the floor so that he could disappear. “I-it’s not your fault, I-I guess I just should have been a better b-boyfriend when I had the ch-chance.” He glanced toward Seth once more as he heard him speak, more tears welling in his saucer-shaped eyes at the gasping sobs and threatening to fall as he stood there, just watching the other boy. “No.. No, Seth, y-you were a good boyfriend until I me-messed everything up again by r-running away and I just—” He stammered, cutting himself off as his breath shortened considerably, another rush of warm tears flooding his eyes and falling. Oh, great. He shook his head wildly before covering his eyes with the palms of his hands, trying to calm down before a full force panic attack replaced the minor one and shaking harder when he heard the distressed cry Seth gave. You need to learn to shut the fuck up, seriously! I mean, Aide, you do this every fucking time! Shut the fuck up and you wouldn’t have people crying and you probably wouldn’t get fucking beaten up! Aiden was beginning to believe that he should have his vocal cords ripped out.
It might have been for the better.
*** Seeing Seth with a pill bottle filled with medication he was sure the other boy wasn’t prescribed came as a bit of a surprised to Aiden. As far as he had known back in Mansonville, Seth hadn’t really popped pills too much or had a stash of them around. Well, a stash that was visible. Still a bit off from seeing the amount of pills in the bottle, Aiden couldn’t help but stare into the battered container, refraining from snatching a few of the Xanax’s he was so dearly craving and sitting it on the floor next to his thigh before glancing at Seth surprisedly. The boy was curled contentedly with his head on Aiden’s rib cage– and he was confused. He blinked, quietly pushing the hair out of his eyes and glancing toward his jacket as he tried to clear his thoughts, the bottle in his hands still lidless and slightly tipped due to his lack of attention. Focusing his eyes on the floor, Aiden tried to still his rapidly beating heart as he absently pressed the lid back onto the bottle and sat it on the floor close to his thigh, jumping as Seth jumped upright and preparing to scramble away. He glanced curiously at the other boy as he reached out and grabbed the pill bottle, his eyes following Seth’s motions slowly as he poured a selection of the pills out into his hand. My god, the kid had everything crammed into that little miracle bottle, didn’t he?! “Aide, if you need something to calm down, then take it.” ‘You have no idea,’ he wanted to say, looking toward the floor and shaking his head slightly as he spoke. “I can’t.. swallow whole pills.” He said almost sheepishly, his pale skin flushing a gentle red as he lightly traced one of the patterns on the oddly tiled floor with his fingertips. Jumping slightly as he felt the other boy settle back into his rib cage, he furrowed his eyebrows slightly, wiping his fingers on his jeans after he’d finally gotten bored of tracing the tile.
At the sudden shift in Seth’s positions, Aiden scrunched his nose up in confusion, lightly chewing on his thumbnail as he peered back at the floor, lost in thought. “Aiden, you always say that, but you just don’t get it. You mean more to me than nearly anyone else in the world.” He couldn’t help but shake his head– that couldn’t possibly be true. No one actually cared about Aiden, the only exceptions being Brendin, Liisi and Monroe– and Monroe had a habit of trying to scratch the fuck out of him, so it was probably only two out of the three. But he didn’t protest, too tired and worried to argue about something that didn’t even really matter– it didn’t matter too much, right?– in the first place. He listened quietly as Seth spoke, a soft sigh pressing passed his lips as he glanced away from the other boy towards the floor, jumping lightly as Seth’s back suddenly pressed into his knees and flinching a bit unintentionally as the other boy pushed his hair from his eyes. At the ‘snickers bar’ and ‘fat kid’ part of Seth’s mini speech Aiden couldn’t help but crack a small smile, shaking his head and lightly poking the boy’s rib cage before his face was pulled forward, the small kiss to his nose unexpected and causing him to nearly tweak out. Nice, Aiden, niiiiice. As the silence ensued, he peered at the faded sharpie markings on the once brand new denim, recognizing the dumb little message Brendin had written on him when he’d been asleep– he still hadn’t gotten around to marking it out, although, he probably should have; it wasn’t the most kid friendly message that had been written on his jeans.
Looking up as the silence was (almost) shattered by a muffled– but still rather loud– angry voice, Aiden’s eyes returned to the size of saucers unintentionally, glancing toward Seth as the other boy hushed his mindless cooing and looked at the door. Was this good? Aiden’s bet was riding for no, but he never had been good at gambling. As a second, softer voice spoke, he couldn’t help but give a small smile, knowing that, if it was the nurse he’d went rounds with earlier, she probably would eat someone. Cannibalistic bitch. At the sudden crazy grin that spread across Seth’s face, Aiden raised an eyebrow, slowly starting to inch away from the younger boy as he heard him speak. “Maybe…” He said slowly, continuing in a small, almost suspicious voice, “Why?.. Don’t look at me like that!” Aiden whined, hugging his knees. An eyebrow raised as he glanced toward Seth, and continued to slowly inch– or, rather, centimeter, bahaha– himself away from the younger boy. What the hell is he up to? Sneaky little– his thoughts were cut off as the pill bottle tipped over, causing a small crash that nearly gave him a heart attack. Wow, Aide. He shook his head slightly, returning his still slightly suspicious glance back to Seth.

i can’t face myself when i wake up and look inside a mirror; i’m so ashamed of that thing. i suppose i’ll let it go ‘til i have something more to say for me, i’m so afraid of defeat. and i’m out of reason to believe in me; i’m out of trying to defy.
“I can’t.. swallow whole pills.” Seth snorted softly as he heard Aiden’s hesitant excuse, giggling girlishly with a soft shake of his head as he settled back down into Aiden’s ribcage, his cheek nuzzled against the soft protrusions of Aiden’s as he absently traced the outline of a wrinkle in the tight denim on the side of the other boy’s thigh. “Then snort one,” he murmured softly before pausing the soft circling of his finger to glance up at Aiden sheepishly, a soft smile tugging at the corner of his lips before continuing hesitantly, “Aide, I don’t like seeing you so wound up. If you don’t want to take anything, then fine, but please, just relax a little.” Seth pleaded quietly before dropping his gaze once more as he tugged the hem of the papery gown they had him outfitted in self-consciously. Why the fuck did he have to wear this thing anyways? Growling quietly Seth tugged at the collar of the gown helplessly before reluctantly moving away from the warmth of Aiden’s side and crawling towards the chair where his clothes were neatly piled. Reaching around his neck, he quickly snapped the string that held the material up around his upper body and then groping for the second knot and scrambling to pull it free. With both ties parted, the gown sagged to the floor, forcing a soft shiver out of Seth as he was left sitting in nothing but his Spongebob print boxers.
Aiden would survive. Trust me.
Once he was dressed once more, Seth sulked quietly back over to Aiden’s side, crumpling o the cold tiled floor with a piteous whine, his body nuzzled up against Aiden’s rib cage comfortably, though after a few minutes of contemplative silence, Seth managed to squirm around until his head rested on Aiden’s thigh, his cheek pressed into the other boy’s stomach. At the soft sigh that pressed past Aiden’s lips after Seth spoke, Seth squirmed around softly so that he could peer up at Aiden. As he thought, his fingertips pressed abstract designs into the other boy’s stomach while Seth watched Aiden with a curious fascination, his lips twitching softly to the side as he shrugged it off as nothing more than his imagination before he began to quietly squirm around until he sat with his back pressing gently against Aiden’s crooked knees. A delicate little frown teased at the corners of Seth’s mouth as Aiden flinched away from his fingers, a soft sound made at the back of his throat before Seth slowly drew small circles along the other boy’s jaw line with the pad of his thumb, still absently prattling away. Seth had long since wrapped his arms around his knees in an absent gesture, his cheek pressing faintly into his kneecaps as he watched Aiden behind a curtain of dark hair, his own soft smile edging onto his pale lips at the gentle smile still lingering across Aiden’s lips. Goddamn, that boy’s smile had to be the most infectious thing in the world. Shaking his head softly, Seth suddenly erupted into a squeal of laughter as he felt Aiden’s finger prodding at his ribs, his arms snaked around his sides as he toppled onto his side in a fit of wild giggles. “Aiden Mikhail Jacobs, you are so dead!” Seth barely managed to choke the words out between his manic bursts of laughter as he curled softly on the cool tile of the floor, wondering why the sudden altitude change had made him desperately want to puke. After composing himself once more, Seth managed to scramble upright, a lopsided grin etched across his lips as he suddenly swooped forwards and planted a warm kiss to the tip of Aiden’s nose with a loud ‘mwah’ sound before breaking down into yet another fit of giggles as Aiden had a near heart attack.
Seth couldn’t help the soft giggles that bubbled in his throat as he caught sight of the arched eyebrow and skeptical look Aiden was casting in his direction, the devilish smirk that was curling at the corners of his lips growing into a bright smile as he saw how Aiden had begun inching away, his head thrown back as he subjected himself to the fit of laughter trapped in his chest. “Maybe…Why?.. Don’t look at me like that!” Soft peals of laughter continued to press pass Seth’s lips as he heard Aiden’s quiet, slightly suspicion tinged words as he continued to creep away from Seth, eying him doubtfully. Once Seth calmed down he gave a soft whine and pouted adorably, his lower lip trembling softly as he eyed Aiden with an expression of faux disappointment, though the mischievous glitter in his eyes belied his hurt expression. “You don’t trust me? Oh dollface, I’m hurt!” Seth cried melodramatically as he clasped a hand over his heart and threw his head back in an expression of overdramatic suffering before bursting into soft giggles, though as Aiden bumped into the pill bottle and sent it toppling over, Seth yelped and skittered away. Eyes wide and chest heaving, Seth eyed the bottle suspiciously before snorting softly and edging back towards Aiden, his lips twitching to the side in a soft smirk. “Sooo, I’m going to take a shot in the dark and say that no, you aren’t dating anyone… Perfect.” He murmured softly, more so to himself than Aiden, before flickering his eyes towards the door once more. Jos was going to love this… Or maybe hate it. Seth wasn’t sure.
––––––––––
Jos whined impatiently at the door as Wil chewed nervously at his thumbnail, making sure there were no nurses around to make sure that they stayed out of the room like that fucking monster of a woman had told them to do. She scared Jos. Plain and simple. With another little impatient whimper, Jos clung tighter to the stuffed panda bear that Wil had bought him in the gift shop to shut him up. Suddenly, his mind flashed and Jos gave a sharp little gasp, clinging so tightly to the stuffed chenille bear that it’s little pudgy arms and legs swelled with stuffing. Why were they at the hospital? What was going on? With a sharp, desperate sound, Joscelin scrambled forwards and latched onto the bright purple fabric of Wil’s shirt, his fingers shakily grabbing fistfuls of cottony material.
“Joscelin, what exactly are you doing?” Jos blinked quietly against Wil’s back, a soft frown wrinkling his forehead momentarily as he thought, one arm still clinging possessively to the small panda bear. “Hiding.” he stated obviously, as if he didn’t understand why Wil was asking such an obvious answer, his fingers clinging tighter to the other boy’s shirt. “Good god, Jos, grow up.” Behind Wil, Jos gasped indignantly, his face dug deeper into the other boy’s back before suddenly being jerked forward towards a very familiar squeal.
“Ohmigod! Wil! Ellie!” Seth squealed excitedly and scrambled to his feet before scampering over to the pair of boys still standing nervously in the door way, his arms thrown about Wil’s lanky frame with a delighted squeal. Pulling away, Seth blushed furiously and giggled quietly before peeking around Wil’s shoulder where Jos had scrambled in an attempt to hide from Seth’s vibrant display of affection. “Awh, come on Ellie, I’m not going to bite youu!” Seth giggled playfully as he tugged the smaller boy out from behind Wil and smothered him in a bear hug. Jos giggled softly and reluctantly drug himself around from Wil’s lanky body, casting a nervous glance towards Aiden before giggling quietly and clinging to Seth for dear life.
“You mightt! You bit me before, Sethy!” Jos chided softly but belayed his words as he clung tighter to Seth, though as Seth pushed him an arms length away he pouted softly, murmuring something about how Seth was a horrible person for making him think he would actually get a decent hug out of all of this but then just pushed him, though when he noticed the large grin plastered to Seth’s lips, he shut up. “Why are you looking at me like that? What you going to do to me? Sethh, tell me!” Jos demanded childishly, adding to his adorable antics with a soft stomp of his foot against the tiled floor, his panda bear cuddled against his chest.
“Hey Ellie, you’re still gay, right?” Jos furrowed his brows at Seth’s question, his cheek nuzzled against the top of his toy bear’s soft head, his brown eyes flashing around the hospital room curiously, expecting that hellish nurse to pop out and eat him alive. “…Yeah, why? Does it even matter, Sethy? I’ve never even had a boyfriend, so how do I really know?” The devilish smile Seth flashed his way, made Jos nervous, his fingers curling tightly around the pudgy leg of the toy panda. “You’re not going to kiss me like you did in the seventh grade in front of everyone, are you?” Jos asked nervously, trying to cleverly squirm out of Seth’s grasp. He remember that day perfectly, as though it happened not five minutes ago, though honestly, he didn’t remember what had actually happened five minutes ago. But anyways, Seth had convinced him to enter the talent show with him, promising him that everything was going to be perfect. Andit was, until Seth kissed him in front of the whole entire school. Life was hell from then on out, he got beat up almost daily at lunch period for being gay. It hurt.
“Oh chill out Ells, that was eight years ago. Ut there is someone I want you to meet.” Jos could have sworn his neck almost broke his head snapped up so fast, his light brown eyes widening incredulously as he stared at Seth like the other boy had just told him he was pregnant. “Bu-But nobody ever likes me..” he muttered softly, allowing Seth to turn him around, his breath catching his throat as he noticed the boy curled up in the floor, his eyes widening to the size of pizzas. He was absolutely fucking gorgeous. Joscelin nervously sucked on the tip of his index finger, a nauseous feeling curling in his stomach as he attempted to hide behind his stuffed teddy shyly.
“Ellie, this is Aiden. Aiden, meet Ellie.”
ooc; it sucks. i know. I IS SORRY, OKAY?! bahaa, just ignore. i know you want to.[/blockquote]

hate the mind, regrets are better left unspoken. for all we know, this void will grow and everything’s in vain, distressing you though it leaves me open. feels so right, but i’ll end this all before it gets me.
In confusion, Aiden’s head tipped to the side as his eyes searched the floor, Seth’s suggestion running rampant throughout his thought process and causing him to almost ‘pros and cons’ the situation. He must already know. Just do it. It won’t hurt anything. You’ll calm down, he’ll be satiated with the fact that you’ll be calm, and you’ll both be okay. If only that was true. Aiden shook his head softly, the dark locks of his hair masking his saucer-shaped eyes as he watched Seth’s finger wind absently over a small portion of his jeans. “Aide, I don’t like seeing you so wound up. If you don’t want to take anything, then fine, but please, just relax a little.” …relax? Was he serious, or just smoking some of the good stuff? “Its not that I don’t want to take anything. Its that I can’t and– errh, never mind,” he replied hesitantly, biting his lip quietly and tugging at the frayed edges on the knee of his jeans. He didn’t really feel like explaining his miniature story about pill escapades (well, technically Brendin’s escapades, since really, Aiden? on drugs? ha!) even though he rarely ever did anything of that manner.. Except alcohol– alcohol was another story entirely. Mhm. It was just too yummy. A minor surprise followed as he finally realized that Seth had left his, apparently comfortable, place curled by Aiden’s rib cage, the boy’s eyes looking about curiously as he wondered where the younger male had disappeared to– and giving a startled gasp as Spongebob print boxers winked out from the hospital gown as it fell to the floor. Had it been any other time than now, Aiden would have been laughing his ass off– and, to tell the truth, he kind of was. In his head. Oh yeah. Way to go, Seth! Bahaha.
At the almost over dramatic whine Seth gave, Aiden quirked an eyebrow, his teeth absently chewing at the inside of his bottom lip as he peered at the younger boy, most of the confining fear in his eyes having been replaced by mild curiosity. He squirmed lightly at the random designs being lightly prodded through the thin fabric of his shirt to touch his pale stomach, trying to hold down a small giggle and masking it with a sigh as Seth finally stopped the distracted tracing and moved to press his back to Aiden’s knees. In a momentary lapse of judgement, Aiden lightly prodded Seth’s side, and, despite the other boy’s laughing, he immediately regretted it. “Aiden Mikhail Jacobs, you are so dead!” He gave a hoarse whimper and swallowed hard, chewing at the inside of his lower lip as he watched Seth closely. It may have been an empty, joking threat– if it could even be called a threat– but with his attitude right now, it still chilled him to the bone. …or maybe it was the air conditioner. It was hard to tell with Aiden. The poor boy obviously couldn’t differentiate threatening from joking at the moment, so who could tell? Call doctor Phil, we have an issue. Psh. Fuck doctor Phil. Get Jerry Springer up in this bitch! :D After taking a moment and forcing himself to calm down– reasoning with himself that Seth was merely joking and there was nothing to be this worked up about– his nerves were wound back up as the other boy dropped a kiss onto the edge of his nose with a loud kissy-noise. Tipping his head to the side, Aiden brought a shaky hand from his lap and lightly rubbed at the tip of his nose– in the same cute, questioning way he used to do every time lips came into contact with his nose– and tried his best to try and keep himself from tweaking out, his eyes flitting from the pale boy to the floor and back again. Honestly, he was beginning to think he had to switch to decaf, even though it wasn’t even the coffee that was doing anything to him, not really. The only thing the highly caffeinated beverage did to Aiden was make it so that he wasn’t hungry.. Perhaps he just needed to see a shrink? Pshaw, as if.
Aiden continued to inch away at the ‘I’m plotting something evil and it involves you mwahaha!’ look on Seth’s face, wondering how the other boy could be laughing at a time like this until it struck him– Seth was the one plotting, it was no wonder he was laughing! “You don’t trust me? Oh dollface, I’m hurt!” “Honey, after hearing you laugh like that and seeing that look on your face I don’t really think you would trust you..” he said in a slightly doubtful voice, the heel of his hand lightly hitting the battered pill bottle and sending it flying onto it’s side in a roundabout– and, sadly, Aiden yelped and nearly pissed himself at the peace-shattering noise. Grabbing the bottle and glaring at it pitifully, he tossed it onto the vacant hospital bed, a sudden movement at the corner of his eye causing him to look over only to see Seth closing the gap between them. Uh-oh. This couldn’t be good. He continued his slow, painfully obvious but dreadfully inconspicuous actions, inching backward as he heard the other boy speak and his breath catching in his throat. “You’re going to kill me, aren’t you? I can feel it, wouldn’t it be easier to just.. Iono.. Push me off a cliff or something? You’re planning something and I dun like it!” he whined thoughtfully, a pout lining his lips as the sudden change in seating made him shiver. It was never good to be in a hospital– way too goddamn cold. He tugged his jacket on, the fabric easily enveloping his slender body as he continued to eye Seth cautiously, wondering exactly what the other boy was planning. He knew Seth– it couldn’t be good, he was sure of it.
Not good at all.
“Sooo, I’m going to take a shot in the dark and say that no, you aren’t dating anyone… Perfect.” Perfect? What? “Oh hell,” he said slowly, closing his eyes and shaking his head lightly. This kid was going to be the death of him.
—————————— Giving a low, pitiful whine /slash/ groan as heard voices, Aiden tried to shrink himself into a little ball, unsure of what to expect or do. He never really had been good around people– well, okay, that was a lie. He used to be a people person. Now he was a people watcher. Significant difference. But that wasn’t the point– not right now, at least. Apparently Seth knew the disembodied voices and they actually were attached to people– which was a good thing, sort of, for Aiden, since he was tripping out about it like he was on acid in the middle of a bear shelter– and it unnerved him, almost to the point that he wished he was Michael’s chew toy. Well, wait, he already was, wasn’t he? Damn. It took a minute to register that Seth had spoken a pair of names before scrambling up and away, but, when it finally did, Aiden took the chance to scamper backward, his back touching the tiled wall and refraining him from going further. Goddamned wall, you son of a– Out of place yet oddly comfortable, Aiden peered curiously at the three boys, gnawing at his lower lip and gripping his knees for dear life as he tried, once again, to make himself less noticeable. Sadly, in a paper white hospital, that was pretty impossible in dark clothing. Sudden words from the short dark headed boy caused Aiden to look towards him, although his attention was still– for the most part– focused on Seth, his head tipping to the side as he stomped his foot against the tile and demanded Seth tell him what he was going to do to him. Good luck, that little brat won’t tell anyone anything, he thought sarcastically, knowing well that if Seth wouldn’t tell one person, he more than likely wouldn’t tell another. Well, if they were involved in his little schemes, he would. Pshaw. Aiden would have to do something about that boy, mhm? xD “Hey Ellie, you’re still gay, right?”
Holy hell, what’s that got to do with anything?
Silly Aiden, you’re clueless.
Finally calming down enough to peer around the room again, he saw the pill bottle move all by itself– though, really, it had landed on a wrinkle and had ended up rolling downward– and yelped quietly, scampering upward and feeling his hip ram into the small dresser he’d curled up beside. Instead of cursing like a sailor, which is what he usually would have done, he clutched the dark grey fabric of his hoodie and glanced at the floor, wishing it would open and eat him whole. Would save him from the embarrassment, yeah? Way to go, Aiden. “Oh chill out Ells, that was eight years ago. Ut there is someone I want you to meet.” His eyes remained glued to the demon bed, once again calming down– until he rewound and listened to what Seth had said again, at which point his eyes shot toward the other boy and nearly glared dull daggers at him. White boy say what? No, really, say what?! “Ellie, this is Aiden. Aiden, meet Ellie.” Aiden tipped his head once more, mentally reprimanding himself for doing so– he really needed to stop, it was painfully stupid– and glanced at the boy Seth had turned around, blinking quietly and thinking to himself, That little prick, just wait, grawrrr! He’s kind of cute.. Oh, what the fuck?! Come on, Aiden, get with the program, you know better! Kieran was cute too, and look what he did. Sighing softly, Aiden tore his gaze away from the three boys and turned it toward the tiled floor, raising a shaking hand from his side to push the black hair from his, still saucer-shaped, eyes and absently mumbling, “Hi..” Seth really was trying to kill him, wasn’t he? He continued to mumble absently, a disoriented, incoherent babble of words drawing attention from the sudden blush that covered his cheekbones and his hair hiding the prickling sensation in his eyes. After a few moments the blush died, but his nose still remained a quiet red, shallow breaths making it seem as if he was gasping for air. This couldn’t be happening.
And yet, it was.
“Seth, Sie schrecklich sind.” Aiden whined softly in Seth’s direction, biting his lip and glancing toward the stuffed panda. Awhee! How cute! He wanted one. Uhm. The bo– panda. Yup. He wanted the panda. He tipped his head quietly and lightly searched the brown-headed boy’s face, his hazel eyes soon turning back to the floor as he gave a small sigh. As if, Aiden, seriously. Come on. Chewing silently at the inside of his lower lip once more, he glanced from boy to boy and back again, the once comfortable feeling leaving abruptly and the want to go replaced it, his pride– surprisingly, he still had a bit of that left– severely wounded. At the moment, all he really wanted to do was leave– but he knew better. Seth would duct tape him to the floor if he was bound determined enough, and it seemed like he was. At this point, all Aiden wanted to do was curl up on Michael’s couch and sleep for two or three weeks, but he really doubted he’d get passed this hospital room door until Seth was asleep or until he had a panic attack and died. He gripped the grey fabric of his hoodie until his knuckles turned white, still slightly pouting as he allowed his eyes to settle on the boy holding the stuffed panda bear. Hey, wait! PANDA! Ohmygosh! Pandapandapanda! …Yes, boys and girls, Aiden really is that dumb. Moving on. Awkward, much? Uhm. Yuh. “Just wait, Sethums.” He said in a quiet, almost sing-songy voice, his eyes leaving the bo– panda bear and gracing the floor. Well, at least he was feeling better! I mean, he was making empty threats again. That was good, wasn’t it? :D
...yuh. the ending sucks. v.v it kind of died on me. x3 isorry. <3 i'll edit if you need me to. x3 bahahaaha. x3333 i had to.

the days don't seem to change, strolling down memory lane, hand in hand with the person i used to be, before your words spoke symphonies. to here, to now, to me. hand in hand with the person i used to be.
“Seth, Sie schrecklich sind.” Jos’ eyes widened incredulously as he heard those odd sounding words falling from the strange boy’s lips, his head cocked to the side like a confused puppy before Seth planted a hand firmly between his shoulder blades and pushed him forwards, hissing at him to go say hello and quit being so damn difficult. As if. With a soft, distraught whine, Jos chewed at his fingernail nervously, his gaze turned over his shoulder towards Seth as he shuffled that boy’s name again? Oh no, this isn’t good, not at all, he thought miserably, a blush exploding like fire across his jaw as he hesitated a few feet away from the other boy, anxiously sucking on the tip of his index finger. “Of course…know what I’m doing, Wil! …wouldn’t hurt a soul! … Trust me…” The sounds of a hushed a hushed conversation caught Jos’ attention and he swiveled slightly on his heel, his head turned slightly as he glanced furtively over his shoulder at the two boys huddled in the corner of the room speaking in hushed whispers. Feeling a bit put out by the sudden secrecy, Jos huffed softly and turned on his heel so he faced Aiden once more, the panda bear dropped from his face as he took a few hesitant steps forwards. “H-hi…? I’m Jos.” Joscelin kept his voice just barely above a low murmur, his mocha irises flickering everywhere around the small space Aiden was taking up, his eyes lingering on just about everything but the other boy.
Fidgeting slightly, Jos suddenly nuzzled his cheekbone into the fuzzy fabric of his teddy’s head, his warm chocolate eyes gazing up at Aiden imploringly. “I-I-I, uhm, I’m sorry about Seth…I mean, I understand if you feel really weird about this, but he just gets things in his head and…” A curtain in somewhere in the depths of his mind fluttered, swirling his thoughts away like a scattered pile of fall leaves. Jos furrowed his brows slightly as he peered up at the other boy with curious brown eyes, a soft frown itching at the corner of his lips as he hesitantly crept forwards. “I’m Jos….I don’t know if I told you that or not, but I forget things really easy. Will you promise not to get mad at me because I can’t remember? It’s not my fault, I swear! Everybody else always hates me because I forget…” Jos’ voice was a soft whimper, his lower lip jutting out slightly and his eyes prickling with tears as he curled his tiny arms around the panda cradled in his arms, his nose buried in the soft fabric with one last pitiful whimper.
With a slight reluctance Jos slunk forwards, his nose buried shyly into the crown of his stuffed teddy’s black and white head. “Just wait, Sethums.” Glancing up bashfully Jos suddenly noticed the soft pout gracing the other boy’s boyish lips, a soft smile crinkled his eyes briefly before he molded a perfect pout onto his rosy lips, the small, chubby panda bear held out towards Aiden at an arms length away, encouraging the other boy to take it. “He won’t bite like Sethy, I promise…” Jos teased softly, his voice holding a slightly challenging childish slur to it as he attempt to encourage the other boy to the hold the stuffed teddy he’s obviously been staring at. On several occasions Jos had sent furtive glances towards the other boy behind the protection of his sweeping bangs only to find himself staring back into a pair of captivating hazel eyes. At first hopeful, Jos had blushed secretively and dug his face deeper into the plushy fabric of the stuffed animal’s squishy head, delightful little shivers of hope creeping up his spine like creeping snakes twining their slick bodies into his nerve endings. Though now it was obvious that Aiden had only been envious of his newly acquired toy, all rosy color fading from his cheeks and his perfect pout falling to ruin.
The world had been cut down to only the boy in front of him and the soft floppy feeling of his stomach, Jos’ breathing caught in his throat as he hesitantly dared himself forward another step leaving only a couple of feet between himself and the nervous boy huddled up against the wall. Honestly, what was there to be afraid of? Joscelin? Please, he couldn’t hurt of fly if he tried. Having kept his attention and concentration focused completely on Aiden, Jos hadn’t realized that the soft spoken whispers had died away with a quiet giggle on Seth’s part until something suddenly cinched it’s lanky arms around his waist, lifting him off the ground a few feet and whispering a menacing ‘boo’ in his ear. Jos whimpered and fought against his captor with all his strength, tears prickling as he thrashed about in the other’s arms, his feet kicking wildly in the air. “Lemme go! Stop it, you’re squeezing to hard!” His voice was desperate as he thrashed about savagely, his pupils dilated to the size of pizzas as he was suddenly dropped to his feet to the sound of Wil and Seth’s combined laughter his chest heaving as he scampered towards the strange boy pressed against the wall, his insecurities momentarily forgotten as he managed to squirm around until he was pressed behind Aiden, his fingers curled softly at the fabric covering Aiden’s ribs.
It was all some sick twisted joke played out at his expense. It hurt––physically and mentally. Still shaking like a leaf Jos whimpered once and slowly sucked in a slow, careful breath. Some foreign smell stung at his nostrils, it was sweet and spicy all at once and it smelled like apples. Joscelin’s eyelids flew open as he realized that he was clinging pitifully to the boy he didn’t even know, his panda abandoned where it had fallen to the floor in his haste to get away. His lower lip jutting out, Jos squirmed away from the other boy quickly, his eyes wide, a soft apology falling past his lips as he attempted to make himself look as small and insignificant as possible curled p in the corner of the room, his soft brown eyes staring muddily up at Wil and Seth who where still giggling and making jokes at Jos’ surprised reaction. It wasn’t his fault! He didn’t know who it was! “Awh, c’mon Ellie, don’t be like that. We were just kidding!” “Yeah! You don’t have to be so jumpy all the time..”Wil chimed in as he bent down to scoop up Joscelin’s fallen panda and putting it into Seth’s waiting hands. “Oh honestly, Ells. It’s not that big of a deal, just quit crying already.” Jos whined softly as Seth advanced in on him, his brown eyes wide and panicked as he suddenly darted away from the wall and snatched the panda before scurrying back to Aiden’s side in hopes that the other boy understood his need to be near someone who didn‘t find such a sick pleasure in tormenting him.
“Hey Aide, I think Joscelin needs to go home and just kind of chill out for a while, can you take him?” Jos threw a panicked look Seth’s way. What are you doing?! Seth simply flashed them both a million dollar smile, his warm hazel eyes crinkling up happily as he threw a meaningful glance towards Jos. “Why can’t Wil take me?” Jos asked nervously, his weight shifting from one foot to the other as his brown irises flickered from one face to the next, lingering for just a moment longer on Aiden’s before he tore his gaze away. “Because I don’t wanna. Don’t you like Aiden?” Wil drew out the other boy’s name in a long, childishly sweet manner, his lips pulled together into a face that vaguely reminded him of a fish, causing Jos to blush a bright scarlet.
ooc;

there’s nothing ever wrong, but nothing’s ever right; such a cruel contradiction. i know i cross the lines, its not easy to define. i’m born to indecision.
Looking around the room hastily, Aiden hugged himself tighter, the hushed conversation in the other corner of the room making him curious and, to tell the truth, slightly confused. Honestly, what the hell? “H-hi…? I’m Jos.” He jumped slightly as the tiny voice introduced itself, his eyes flickering downward slightly to meet the chocolate brown ones that peered out from above the panda’s pudgy head. He bit down lightly on his lower lip, scolding himself as he nearly tipped his head to the side again and glancing cautiously at Jos, an eyebrow quirked as he heard the smaller boy speak again. “I-I-I, uhm, I’m sorry about Seth… I mean, I understand if you feel really weird about this, but he just gets things in his head and… I’m Jos… I don’t know if I told you that or not, but I forget things really easy. Will you promise not to get mad at me because I can’t remember? It’s not my fault, I swear! Everybody else always hates me because I forget…” This time, Aiden couldn’t help himself as he tipped his head to the side, glancing from the boy hugging the stuffing out of the panda to the other boys huddled in the corner and back again as he licked his lips. “I understand Seth.. He’s terrible sometimes..” A brat, too. “W-why would I get mad at you? It’s not your fault.. Is it..?” Aiden asked curiously, his voice low. He didn’t really get it, but at the almost adorable actions that followed Jos’ little speech, he spoke again. “If-if it makes you feel better, I won’t,” he added softly, hoping to at least calm the other boy down a bit. He doubted his words held any comfort– did they usually?
All of a sudden the pandaburr was thrust towards him, and, pitifully, it was all Aiden could do to keep from flopping to the floor and crawling into fetal position. Thankfully, though, he refrained, and he looked from boy to panda as he heard Jos speak. Ha, that was true. The panda didn’t have teeth– hopefully. Seth did. He cracked a small smile, lightly shaking his head to Jos’ gesture and turning down the offer to hold the panda. Well, it wasn’t his, and half the stuffed animal collection he possessed– which, honestly, was only a small white and brown owl.. seriously! D: oh! And Monroe, duh– he didn’t even hold that much. He’d never really had a stuffed animal phase. The small boy took another step closer, and, this time, Aiden didn’t move– surprising, since he usually would’ve tried to get the wall to move, yeah?– just peering quietly at the shorter boy until he heard the giggle across the room. Uhm. Mayday? What?! It was kinda creepy. O.O “Lemme go! Stop it, you’re squeezing to hard!” Aiden tipped his head, his fingers once again gripping the sleeves of his jacket as he watched the scene play out. That’s all he could do, right? The next thing he knew, though, Jos had somehow wormed his way behind him and was gripping his shirt, and he froze, slightly panicked, unsure of what to do. “What the hell… Oh now come on, that was mean,” he said softly, trying awkwardly to peer over his shoulder at the boy before giving up and glancing back at the floor, although he kept a sort of wary eye on the other two boys. …What? He didn’t want to be picked up and squeezed, either. O.O
Jos had pulled himself out from behind Aiden and had ventured to the corner, acting much like he had, earlier, during the pill bottle escapade. The other two boys’ comments slightly troubled him, and although he didn’t say anything, he didn’t understand– they were friends but they were picking on him? Sure, he and Brendin did the same, but not to the point that one or the other was brought to tears and shaking and.. erm.. all that good stuff. But, Aiden supposed, it wasn’t his business– plus, he’d done his share of making people cry. Baha. Tankass. :D Maybe it was because Jos wouldn’t remember? Or so the boy had voluntarily told Aiden earlier. He had no clue. After Seth had handed Jos his panda, the boy appeared next to his side seconds later, and he bit his lip, wondering if this all was some sort of sick joke they’d all been planning for months on end or if it wasn’t actually being acted out. Truthfully, he really wasn’t sure. “Hey Aide, I think Joscelin needs to go home and just kind of chill out for a while, can you take him?” Aiden’s head snapped up as he heard the other boy speak, just barely keeping his jaw from dropping open and letting random obscenities spill out. “…huh? There are so many things wrong with that sentence, Seth! Seriously, what the hell, like, how does he know I’m not some kind of freak rapist or whatever? I-I mean I’m not but.. N-never mind, I need to go anyway.. I think I might’ve broken Michael’s nose..” He said quietly, on the verge of tears this time.
Wow, Aiden, go pop some Xanax or something and come back in five minutes.
Taking a deep breath but unable to stop his shaking, Aiden glanced at the floor as he tugged his jacket tighter about his slender frame, a sigh pushing passed his lips. He was freezing, and he wasn’t quite sure why– normally he would’ve been complaining about it being too hot, but he wasn’t worried about it; he was trying his hardest to keep from spazzing out and crying like a bitch, which would probably happen later. Though, not as a result of tweaking out– more so of what the hell Michael had planned if he had, indeed, broken his nose. As if I need to go back there.. he sighed again, glancing up after a moment and looking toward Seth and who he thought was Wil. Honestly, he had no clue. “Erm..” He mumbled softly, tipping his head slightly and allowing his hair to obscure his eyes. Right, yes, like that would help and he could run around all invisible. Pshaw. Right.
eeep. iknowiknow it’s short and icky and it probably doesn’t make sense. it doesn’t help that its like hella late x3 i sorry <3 i can probably edit but i donno how good it’ll get if i edit it, it’ll probably get suckier knowing me. v.v but it’s up! squeeee. :3

i want to be the one that you can count on and i want to be someone that you can trust and i'll keep my word, i made a promise to you for what it's worth, i've always stood by your side “What the hell… Oh now come on, that was mean,” As Aiden spoke Jos whimpered quietly against Aiden’s shoulder, his nose pressed gently into the soft material of Aiden’s jacket, his body pressed against the other boy’s as if he got close he could just disappear. Plus, Aiden was warm. Sighing softly, Jos reluctantly began loosening his death grip on the other boy’s jacket one finger at a time until he reluctantly slid out from behind the strange boy. He managed a softly mumbled ‘sorry’ before fleeing to the unoccupied corner of the room to sniffle and cry quietly. Well that looked attractive, didn’t it? Not. At Seth’s exasperated words, Jos sniffled again before snatching the panda and scampering back to Aiden’s side, hoping like hell that the other boy wasn’t just going to push him away. Without thinking, Jos turned and buried his face into Aiden’s shoulder, a soft sigh given as he hid away from the other boys.
“…huh? There are so many things wrong with that sentence, Seth! Seriously, what the hell, like, how does he know I’m not some kind of freak rapist or whatever? I-I mean I’m not but.. N-never mind, I need to go anyway.. I think I might’ve broken Michael’s nose..” Jos blinked quietly up at Aiden, his brown eyes wide as he stared incredulously at the other boy. Aiden was…a freak rapist? Jos was confused. “What’s wrong with that sentence? It’s not like I’m asking you to take him into the bathroom and fuck him! And he hasn’t got the fucking plague, so I really don’t see what the big fucking deal is! I honestly don‘t see why you keep going back to that asshole anyways if you know he‘s going to hurt you, just get over it and move out.” Jos gasped softly as he heard Seth go off on Aiden, his eyes flickering between the two boys. Seth had to be on pills, he never acted this way when he wasn’t. Panicking slightly Jos flung the soft teddy at Seth, managing to make it thump him softly in the side of his head. “Chill out, Sethy, he doesn’t want me. It’s fine, just don’t get mad at him, be mad at me.” Jos chided softly before hurrying forward and scooping the cuddly panda into his arms, his brown eyes nervously flicking towards Seth before he hastily scrambled back towards Aiden. “Fine, fine. I’m sorry I went off on you… but can you please just take him home and make sure he doesn’t get lost? You don’t have to like him if you don’t want to, but I think he likes you and I just thought that maybe you two could––” “Seth!” “What?” “I’m right here! “Oh.. Right.. Well, do you like Aiden?” Jos wailed miserably, his face burning a million degrees as he took cover behind his panda bear’s back as Seth began laughing, a smile could be heard lingering in the other boy’s words. “Told you, Aide.”
Jos suddenly found himself being towed away from Aiden by his arm, a soft frown puzzling his pouty lips as he followed after Seth reluctantly. “Seth, where are we going?” Seth turned to him suddenly, his hazel eyes almost swallowed in black from the size of his pupils, though despite being so obviously drugged, his eyes remained as sharp as ever. “..You like Aiden, right?” Jos blushed faintly, his shoulders shrugged nondescriptly as he shifted uneasily from foot to foot, his teeth busily worrying at his lower lip. “I guess, I mean he’s really cute, but I don’t know him!” Seth sighed and rolled his eyes before glancing up over Jos’ shoulder and frowning slightly, his lips twisting to the side slightly. Puzzled, Jos reached up and stroked his cool fingers down Seth’s cheek curiously. “Huh? Oh, right. If he hurts you in any way, shape, or form tell me and I swear I’ll break every bone in his body, okay? I don’t want to see you get hurt by him, Ellie.” Jos gaped up at Seth like he was on crack, his warm brown eyes the size of pie plates before he shook his head and suddenly swatted at the younger boy. “You try and I’ll cheerfully beat you to death Seth.” Jos added with a soft giggle, turning slightly to look over his shoulder where Wil was glaring Aiden down and Aiden was standing nervously against the white wall as if he were willing himself to become invisible. “Jos, don’t push him to fast and try and make this work. I know it seems hard, but Aide honestly is a wonderful guy if you give him enough time.” Jos smiled ruefully back up at Seth before shaking his head and shrugging softly. “I can’t make him like me, Seth. And he doesn’t like me, I know he doesn’t….”
As soon as they were ushered out the door by an ecstatic Seth and the door had clicked behind them, Jos whirled around to face Aiden, his large brown eyes peering inquisitively up at the other boy nervously. “L-look, if you don’t want to walk me home then I understand… Seth won’t know if you don’t.” He murmured quietly as he dropped his gaze down to the off colored floors, pouting quietly behind the protection of his teddy bear. Seth knew better than to do stuff like this, it always ended up the same way. Why couldn’t he just accept that Jos wasn’t just cut out for dating? There wasn’t a boy out there with enough patience to put up with his shit, but he couldn’t really blame them. Sniffling quietly Jos sucked in a ragged breath and glanced back up at Aiden one last time, a pseudo smile twitching the corner of his lips upwards slightly as he lowered the panda bear to hold it boy one of it’s pudgy arms. Silly Joscelin, getting your hopes up that he would be the one to understand. “If Seth asks just pretend you walked me home.. I probably won’t remember long enough for him to ask me..” As he spoke, his face fell until he just looked downright pathetic, the fake smile he’d plastered onto his lips fell into a soft pout. “Oh, and just incase he does ask tell him I live in the ‘bad’ part of town so he’ll believe you, ‘kay?” Jos managed another forced smile before shifting around nervously and coughing out a stammered ‘goodbye’ before turning and venturing slowly towards the menacing red exit sign, his panda clutched tightly to his chest. Aiden would be better off without him anyways.
ooc; DONE. sorry it ended so weirddd. i really couldn't think of anything elseee. ...unless it meant jos got ran over by a taxi. but that wouldn't work very well. so he just kind of wanders very slowly away. coughwinkwinknudgenudgecough, LMFAO. but yeahhh. it's short. it sucks. if it needs anything done, you can always tell me.

i’ve burned down every bridge that i’ve found, now i limit myself to a six gun quota. i’ve played down every feeling i’ve felt and i bottled them up ‘til the well ran over. it feels so good to be numb. i hate what i have become.
“What’s wrong with that sentence? It’s not like I’m asking you to take him into the bathroom and fuck him! And he hasn’t got the fucking plague, so I really don’t see what the big fucking deal is! I honestly don‘t see why you keep going back to that asshole anyways if you know he‘s going to hurt you, just get over it and move out.” Aiden's eyes hardened as he heard Seth begin to talk, although he couldn't stop the well of tears that began to build up. He glanced toward the floor, giving a soft shrug. "I know he doesn't have the plague. I didn't say anything about him. That's why I changed my mind because I knew you would fucking do this. And I don't go back to him. He is not my motherfucking boyfriend although he obviously pretends to be. And, by the way, I am over it. But do you want me on the streets again, Seth? Because I have no where else to go. Maine? Yeah, right. I have no where to go there, either. Brendin's in the hospital, but it's not like it matters." He said softly, shaking his head and avoiding turning his head to look at Seth. Instead, he glanced at Jos and, for once, kept his eyes on the other boy's face. He was adorable but that wasn't the point, was it? It was bad to say, but Aiden felt that this was Seth's way of selling him off so that he wouldn't feel bad about running off and getting a new boyfriend. Aiden had already told him that it was alright, and now look-- one of the only friends he had left, if they could even be considered friends, was ripping him a new ass, just for being scared. And not even so much scared for himself, but for Jos, since it seemed like the boy couldn't even remember his own name half the time. He wasn't sure if he wanted the responsibility of taking him to his home, wherever that may be, and risk getting them both lost. But it was better he than anyone else, right? As long as Seth didn't try to rip his throat out again.
He wasn't sure if he'd be able to handle it the next time around.
“Chill out, Sethy, he doesn’t want me. It’s fine, just don’t get mad at him, be mad at me.” That hurt, too. What, was it gang up and make Aiden feel like a guilty asshole day? It sure felt like it. "No. It's my fault. Trust me, I'm used to it, Seth. You should know that. But yeah. I can take him home, if he wants me to.." He paused quietly, blushing a bit and listening to the slight bickering between the two boys as he raised an eyebrow. He couldn't help it-- this was sort of embarrassing, even though it was mostly in Jos' case. Seth wasn't exactly playing nice at the moment, but what did Aiden expect? He nearly killed him, a-fucking-gain (big surprise), and now this.. He wasn't sure what to do. “Told you, Aide.” Again Aiden blushed a bit, glancing toward the floor and, once more, wishing it would open and swallow him whole. He heard shuffling but he didn't glance up, slumping back against the wall in defeat. Maybe he should have taken a few of those Xanax-- oh well, too late now. Absently he tuned in to the conversation between Jos and Seth, once again feeling his self-confidence-- however small it may have been-- be shot down as he heard Seth's words. “Huh? Oh, right. If he hurts you in any way, shape, or form tell me and I swear I’ll break every bone in his body, okay? I don’t want to see you get hurt by him, Ellie.” What the hell?! It's not like I intentionally tried to hurt him, god fucking damn, I told him that.. he thought to himself, shaking his head and pressing the heels of his palms against his eyes momentarily to rid them of the tears rising up. He sniffed a bit and let his head fall back to hit the wall, realizing that he really was worthless and it was obvious to everyone now.
Aiden nearly jumped out of his skin as the almost ominous figure that was Wil began glaring at him, and, finally, he'd had enough. It was enough that Seth had, intentionally or unintentionally, degraded him, but now he was being glared at by someone he didn't even know? "What the fuck?! I didn't even do anything this time!" He wailed quietly, running a hand through his hair and letting his fingers tangle haphazardly in the strands as he turned, resting his forehead against the cool wall. Soon enough, though, he and Jos were ushered out of the hospital room-- and, slightly sad to say, Aiden was glad he was finally out of that hellpit. He felt like he'd had to undergo some kind of horrible test or something, and he really didn't like it. His eyes were still on the floor, the odd tear still managing to slip down one of his cheeks, as Jos turned around abruptly-- being the klutz he was, Aiden bumped into him, a stream of apologies pushing passed his lips. “L-look, if you don’t want to walk me home then I understand… Seth won’t know if you don’t.” He looked up, the blush still rampant across his normally pale cheeks, and bit his lip, shaking his head. "It's not that I didn't want to walk you home in the first place.. I-I just didn't want you to like.. Hell I don't know, I just knew I would end up getting my ass ripped and I did. It wasn't your fault." He said softly, glancing at the boy and biting his lip at the obviously fake smile. The words followed by the pitiful face made Aiden hurt even worse, why, he wasn't exactly sure-- maybe it was because he didn't want the boy to get lost or run over by a bus or something. Then again, he couldn't tell. "Wait.. Where do you live, anyway?" He called, picking up his pace to catch up with Jos and oddly remembering Chanel. Well, she'd be fine-- Monroe was outside anyway. "If you want, I can walk you there.. It's up to you. I don't feel like going back to Michael's right now anyway.." Aiden added, shuddering softly. Oh, he dreaded that encounter, which he knew would happen sooner or later. He followed the smaller boy outside, instantly spotting Monroe on the concrete, who bounded up and meowed angrily as he scooped her up. After a swipe of he paw and a soft gasp from Aiden, she was content in his jacket, cuddled up to his side and finally warm. Four tiny rivulets of blood lightly scanned his right cheekbone, but he wasn't fairly worried about it- more than likely, he'd get worse if Michael caught up with him before he got painkillers. "Oh.. And if I get too annoying, just tell me to fuck off." He added softly, glancing at Jos and blinking toward him almost pathetically. Wow. He really needed to grow up.
donee! wooot. :33 it's shorttt, i know, but it's better than nothinggg. hopefully you can get a reply out of it, if you need me to add anything just askk. mhm, x3

well i'm thinking of the worst things that i could say to you but a promise doesn't mean a thing, any more and this never will be right with me and now you're trying desperately but i'm Tongue tied and terrified of what i'll say. “I know he doesn't have the plague. Brendin's in the hospital, but it's not like it matters.” Jos gasped softly as he heard the razor sharp edge to the strange boy’s words, his brows knitted together as he curiously shifted towards Aiden slightly, his lower lip sucked into his mouth. Suddenly Aiden’s eyes flashed towards him, freezing Joscelin in his tracks his wide brown eyes locked curiously on Aiden’s own. And Seth thinks he has it rough… As if on cue, he heard Seth start in on Aiden again, a piteous moan drifting up from Jos’ lips as he rolled his eyes. “Aiden don’t even give me that shit! I told you to fucking move into my apartment, but you’re too fucking stubborn to listen to anyone who’s just trying to help, aren’t you? You’re so fucking afraid––” Jos had had enough of this, Seth was ranting tirades at this poor boy for absolutely no reason. “Seth Erik Matthews leave him alone you big.. big meanieface!” Jos cut in sharply, his brown eyes finally skirting over to where Seth was gaping at him like a child who’d just been slapped on the wrist for stealing a cookie before dinner and Wil was hurriedly scurrying over to comfort the poor boy. Suddenly some curtain in the backs of his mind fluttered and brushed his thoughts away, his expression falling as he fumbled to catch the scrambled thoughts as they slipped through his fingers like sand.
Jos plucked at the looped material of his panda bear quietly, his brows furrowed as he attempted to remember what exactly he’d said to make Seth look so regretful and Wil look so mad. “No. It's my fault. Trust me, I'm used to it, Seth. You should know that. But yeah. I can take him home, if he wants me to..” Aiden’s voice stirred him out of his reverie, a soft smile lighting up on his lips before some sharp voice chimed in, reminding him that he was only doing it because Seth wanted him to… Seth could make boys do anything..
Jos had been listening carefully to Seth’s words, making sure he was going to remember them as the other boy continued to lecture him about how he was only being like this towards Aiden because he wanted to make sure Jos was going to be safe. Honestly, Seth was going way over the top, he’d set Jos up with so many boys that had ditched him as soon as Seth was out of site that it was even funny anymore.. Literally. It hurt. Jos could usually play it off with a smile and a laugh and explain to Seth that the other boy had just ended up getting them both lost so it was better if he just took a taxi home and could Seth maybe tell him where he lived. But not anymore, now it was starting to hurt more and more as he was rejected time after time with little notes that usually read something like this: sorry it didn’t work out, but have Seth call me sometime.. He never told Seth to call them. “What the fuck?! I didn't even do anything this time!” Jos squirmed slightly in an attempt to see Aiden, his body tensing up slightly for some weird reason that he couldn’t figure out and his heart speeding up. As soon as Seth was done he wandered back towards the other boy and tugged shyly at the sleeve of his jacket, one finger sucked into his mouth nervously.
–––––
Jos stumbled backwards a few steps as Aiden bumped into him, his fingers curling about swatches of the boy’s shirt to keep himself from falling down like the klutz he was. A blush exploded like wildfire across his cheeks and dripping down his jaw as he hastily let go of Aiden’s shirt and stumbled back a step, a soft string of apologies slipping past his lips and melding with Aiden’s own bumbling apologies. As Joscelin looked up and spoke he noticed the small tear slipping down the other boy’s cheek in a winding trail, his lower lip sucked into his mouth as he chewed at it thoughtfully before he stepped forwards carefully and lifted his hand to push away the wild mop of black hair falling down over Aiden’s eyes. A soft sigh managed its way past his lips as Jos swiped away the evidence of that tear, a bubbly smile attempted as he dropped back down onto his heels.
“It's not that I didn't want to walk you home in the first place.. I-I just didn't want you to like.. Hell I don't know, I just knew I would end up getting my ass ripped and I did. It wasn’t your fault.” As he listened to Aiden, Jos clutched his panda tighter to his chest, his face buried into the soft fabric of its chubby head as he shifted from one foot to the other wordlessly. A soft sigh fluttered up from his lips as he peeked up at Aiden shyly, a reluctant smile curling up his lips safely from behind the protection of his teddy bear. “Hey, don’t let them get to you; that’s just how they act when they get together,” Jos mumbled softly against the fabric of his stuffed anima’s pudgy little head, his brown eyes flickering up to meet with Aiden’s before skirting off again. “Seth’s a meanie when he’s on pills, and Wil’s just..Wil. He doesn’t like anyone around Seth, and he wouldn’t like me except Seth makes him.. I think.” He huffed childishly before shrugging and pouting softly, a smile forced onto his lips as he murmured his last sentence, his lower lip jutting out into an enormous pout. It wasn’t really his fault…
“Wait.. Where do you live, anyway?” Jos stumbled and nearly fell flat on his face as he heard the other boy call out to him, his feet suddenly feeling like they were made of lead. As Aiden caught up with him Jos floundered for words, his mouth forming silent words as he fumbled for something to say. Wait.. where did he live? Frowning slightly, Jos shrugged sheepishly and hid his blushing face behind his teddy bear’s back shyly. Why couldn’t he just remember? “Uhmm, I don’t know?” Jos flushed faintly before sighing and running a hand through his messy brown hair, a soft whine floating up from his lips. Suddenly there was a soft whisper in the back of his mind; his pouting lips turned down into a slight frown as he concentrated on remember what his mind was pushing towards him, fuzzy voices whispering and blurry images of.. a piece of paper? Huffing quietly, Jos pouted quietly to himself before something horribly obvious clunked into place. Wil had written down Jos’ address in the little notebook he kept so if he got lost he could go home.
Bouncing slightly on the balls of his feet, Jos excitedly dug the small notebook from the pocket of his thin jacket and flipped trough several pages until he reached one that had Wil’s perfect handwriting scrolled across nearly the whole page. “There! That’s where I live!” Jos was lit up and beaming like a little boy on his birthday, a bubble of unprecedented giggles popping in the brittle Seattle air and spreading his tinkling laughter like snowflakes. “If you want, I can walk you there.. It's up to you. I don't feel like going back to Michael's right now anyway..” Jos twisted his lips to the side momentarily, his head cocked to the side like a curious bird as he looked up at Aiden incredulously. He got to choose what to do? Normally everyone else controlled every aspect of his decision-making.. Giggling like an excited schoolgirl, Jos nodded enthusiastically and beamed up at Aiden like a small child on Easter morning. ..don’t push him to fast.. Jos blinked ingeniously down at the battered toecaps of his converse, his mouth twisted into a delicate frown before he peered up at Aiden. “If that’s okay with you… I think.” He murmured unsurely before flashing Aiden another bright smile.
As a small grey kitten bounded across the slushy concrete towards them, a soft ‘awh’ rose up from Jos’ throat, his eyes crinkling up faintly as he watched Aiden scooping the small animal into his arms. Joscelin’s gaze had been glued to the small fur ball cradled in the other boy’s arms until a soft gasp from Aiden forced his gaze away from her adorable face, a soft frown tugged at his lips quietly as he moved a few steps towards Aiden and hesitantly reaching out to gently wipe the few small gathering drops of blood away from the other boy’s rosy cheeks. A gentle smile played against Jos’ lips as he remained to close to Aiden, his brown eyes locked on the warm hazel in Aiden’s own as he relished in the other boy’s heat before something foreign fluttered in his mind, swirling away his train of thoughts like a soft breeze on a cool autumn day and causing his warm smile to teeter and slip away from his face. That’s funny, when he forgot he never felt that. It almost felt like the butterflies in his tummy had drifted into his head.. What was he doing? Aiden. Jos gasped softly and stumbled backwards a few steps, his cheeks flushing a brilliant red and his fingers hastily wiped on the dark denim of his jeans. I was so not ‘doing’ Aiden, I promise… He thought insistently to himself, not able to help the childish peals of laughter that pushed past his lips though as soon as his childish laughter hit the bitterly cold air, Jos clamped a hand over his mouth and blushed a deeper shade of crimson. “Oh.. And if I get too annoying, just tell me to fuck off.” As Aiden spoke Jos nodded eagerly before frowning softly and peering up at Aiden, his lips twisted to the side disapprovingly. “Why would you get annoying? I would never tell you that, you’re nice to me! So you just hush,” Jos chided good-naturedly, a warm smile flourishing on the rind of his lips.

i’m walking on broken glass from the wreckage of my past; i’m locked up in a cage ‘cause i’m a prisoner of my ways– so cut me off; throw me out.
——————————
Aiden peered quietly at Jos as he continued to mumble apologies for nearly plowing the poor boy over, his bottom lip bitten as he saw the blush spread across Jos’ cheeks. Well, that was great. He’d embarrassed him, too. Can’t you watch where you’re going? Jesus Christ, Aide. Looking down, he gave another soft ‘sorry’ before noticing a sly movement out of the corner of his eye and flinching as the hair was pushed from his eyes, the other boy’s fingers absently brushing away the remnants of the tear that had previously been tracing the contour of his cheek. After a few micro-seconds of silence, Aiden saw the smaller boy once again almost hide behind the pudgy panda– pandapandapanda!– and couldn’t help but let a small smile trace across his lips. “Hey, don’t let them get to you; that’s just how they act when they get together, Seth’s a meanie when he’s on pills, and Wil’s just.. Wil. He doesn’t like anyone around Seth, and he wouldn’t like me except Seth makes him.. I think.” It faded a bit after he heard Jos speak, looking at the floor and giving a soft shrug, declining to answer. There wasn’t really a point, was there? Aiden severely doubted it. “Uhmm, I don’t know?” Well, there was his answer. Aiden frowned softly, chewing at his lip as he, somehow, tried to figure out a way to help the boy remember. There wasn’t really anything he could do, though, was there? And if the boy didn’t happen to remember, Aiden wasn’t about to take him anywhere near Michael’s– what? He didn’t want the other boy to be a chew toy! He was perfect material for Michael’s little ‘I’ll rip you up one side and down the other until you do what I want!’ escapades. “There! That’s where I live!” Aiden jumped, surprised, at Jos’ exclamation, and gave a slightly nervous smile, raising an eyebrow and unable to keep from shaking his head and giving a sort of laugh, himself. What? …It was cute! “If that’s okay with you… I think.” Rawr. Couldn’t he just pick one? Aiden hated making decisions for other people– he didn’t know why, but he didn’t like it. “ Well, it’s up to you, I mean.. I don’t want you to get lost or anything. Like I said, it’s up to you.” Aiden said with a soft shrug, tipping his head to the side and peering at Jos, curiosity swimming in his hazel eyes. This changed as Monroe dashed quickly across the slushy pavement, looking soaked to the bone and pitiful– but Aiden knew better. She was a bitch and that was shown when four tiny rivulets appeared across his cheekbone, a soft gasp filling his lungs with the biting Seattle air as she, somehow, crawled around and rested against his left side, her head popped out of his jacket, which was now unzipped to accommodate her placement. A soft, joking scowl towards the kitten was replaced with a surprised one as, once more, he caught movement out of the corner of his eye, flinching again and squeezing his eyes shut. When nothing happened but the slight sting of pain as a finger gently washed over the freshly made wounds, he pulled a curious face, his lips pulling to the side and one of his eyes popping open to inspect. After a moment, though, both of his eyes were open and he was peering at Jos, his eyebrows furrowed lightly in confusion. That was.. odd, to say the least, he hadn’t exactly expected that. The smile on Jos’ face had fallen away as scrambled backward, and Aiden bit his lip, lightly petting Monroe and shaking his head to clear his thoughts. Come on, Aide, get real. No way, no how. You should just crawl into a hole and die or something. The sudden laughter made Aiden jump, even if only slightly, surprise once again covering his face as he looked up to see the boy’s face darken further. He tipped his head to the side, confused, before shaking his head lightly, his free hand raising to touch gingerly at the pain-filled section of his face– although it wasn’t quite what you’re thinking. The bruise was throbbing across his jaw bone, and every time he touched it, a jolt of pain shot down his body and back up. “Why would you get annoying? I would never tell you that, you’re nice to me! So you just hush,” That… Well, that was just odd. Usually, after the offer was put on the table, they wasted no time in telling him to fuck off. His fingers still lightly lingering on the bruise, Aiden glanced at Jos curiously, chewing absently at the inside of his lower lip as he thought quietly to himself. “ I dunno, usually I get told to shut the hell up, so..” Aiden said softly, his head tipping lightly to the side until Monroe savagely bit into his hip. Or, possibly, moved. Either way, it hurt like hell. Wincing quietly, Aiden turned a bit, moving Monroe and lifting up the layers of clothing to glance at the newly opened wounds. Dammit. “ You want me to bleed to death, don’t you?” He said softly, smiling a bit as she began to purr loudly and shaking his head. He turned back to look at Jos, moving Monroe back so that she wouldn’t rip open the freshly scabbed wounds on his other hip and giving a slightly pained smile. Well, this was sort of awkward, wasn’t it? “ Errh. What now?” He asked, feeling slightly better now that Monroe was back in her killing spree loving mode. Then again, he actually felt kind of.. comfortable in Jos’ presence. Weird? Possibly. Aiden couldn’t be sure. It wasn't exactly common for him to feel anything but awkward and full of unease in the presence of someone he didn't know very well– but, then again, things had changed a bit since the last time he'd actually hung out with a person he'd just met. Not a whole lot, but enough so that he knew he would, more than likely, just feel awkward. " Any ideas?" He asked with a small smile, raising an eyebrow curiously. Well, he was going to try. What, he wasn't quite sure. ewwie. it's short. it sucks. i hate it. i sowwy. x3 i can edit if need be, but i dunno how much better it'll get. x33 -rolls- hopefully you can get some sort of reply out of this thing. -pokesit;dies- i need sleep. how can i escape what i'm living in looking for some thing to make sense again and then in the shadows i see your light it captures my heart and brings me back. “Well, it’s up to you, I mean.. I don’t want you to get lost or anything. Like I said, it’s up to you.” Jos frowned slightly, his nose wrinkled faintly in the last warm rays of dying orange sunlight as he cocked his head and peered up at Aiden thoughtfully through a shaggy mop of dark brown hair. “Well, if you don’t go I probably will get lost.. plus you’re nice to me to so I guess if you didn’t have anything else to do..” He trailed off and gazed up hopefully at the other boy as he chewed fretfully at his fingernail, knowing that if Aiden did choose to leave him that he’d probably either a) get lost and die of hypothermia, or b) go back in and try to find Seth and still die of hypothermia.. Thinking on it, Jos was actually pretty cold.. Giving a rueful smile Jos wrapped his arms about his upper body and hunched over slightly, huffing quietly at the cold as he involuntarily shivered, his muttered voice just barely audible over the sounds of passing cars. “Stupid winter in stupid Seattle where it always rains and makes snow.. Why can’t it just be warm?” Jos continued to whimper miserably to himself, his jacket tugged tighter about his small frame in an attempt to ward off the winter’s cold fingers until the insistent mewing of a small kitten distracted his attention, a soft ‘awh’ bubbling up form his throat as Aiden scooped the pitiful thing into his arms.
As Aiden flinched away from him, Jos made a soft ‘tsk’ing sound under his tongue before blowing at the other boy’s fringe in a playful attempt to calm Aiden down at least slightly. Jos quickly dabbed the blood away from the boy’s rosy cheeks with a quick swipe of his diligent fingers, his pink tongue protruding faintly from between his lips as reattempted to clean up the blood drops from Aiden’s cheek the best he could with trembling fingers. When Aiden’s temperate hazel eyes opened, Jos gasped faintly and quickly dropped back onto his heels before stumbling back a couple of steps and blushing furiously. “Uhh, bad kitty.. You be nice.” his words were stammered and fumbling as he attempted to cover up for his obvious lingering, his arms quickly snaking around the plump panda bear in his arms as he glanced up at Aiden beneath his lashes. “Sorry.”
“I dunno, usually I get told to shut the hell up, so..” As Aden spoke, Jos tipped his head to the side curiously and pursed his lips in the pretense of saying something, but thought better of it and simply smiled warmly at the other boy. He liked Aiden, and he didn’t just simply like him because he maybe had just a teensy weensy teeny tiny crush on him either, but he honestly liked being around the other boy. Aiden made him smile and made his tummy do funny flip flops and feel like it had a million butterflies living in there. It was absolutely wonderful. Jos couldn’t help the soft giggles that bubbled up from his mouth like soap bubbles and burst in the cool air, his brown eyes crinkled up slightly as he watched the boy and his kitty, his fingers fisted inside his jacket sleeves. “Errh. What now?” Jos flinched suddenly when Aiden spoke, his eyes widening to the size of pizzas as he stared at Aiden wild-eyed and slightly confused, his lips twisting down into an automatic frown as he tried to figure out just what he had missed out on. He had honestly been paying too much attention to the way Aiden was babying the small kitten and had pretty much zoned out, a lingering smile on is lips. “Can we go home? ..I’m scared of the dark.” As soon as he spoke Jos flushed a bright pink and once more hid behind the protection of his stuffed teddy.

Jos whimpered quietly and huddled closer to Aiden’s arm as the sun began to slip below the city skyline, his teeth busily worrying away at his lower lip as his gaze flickered from one passing face to the next. He didn’t like being out here when it got dark, there were too many cars and too many fights. Jos opened his mouth to tell Aiden that maybe they should just get a cab and try and go to his house that way but the sound of ominous laughter billowing up from a nearby alley way prompted him to quickly snap his mouth shut and wriggle closer to Aiden’s side, his face buried in the other boy’s shoulder. “Aiden I’m scared..” Jos whimpered quietly against the soft fabric of Aiden’s jacket as he clung to the panda with one arm, his other arm managing to wrap around Aiden’s own as he clung to the other boy for dear life, the side of his face still smushed up against Aiden’s shoulder. The soft pools of light thrown off by the streetlights encouraging Jos to hurry through the small splashes of darkness that were left in-between as the pair continued on towards Jos’ small apartment. Finally working up the courage to peek around the tattered neighborhood, Jos was relieved to find that things were beginning to look more and more familiar; the worn down old buildings and graffiti littered alleyways were all a welcoming sight. Just a couple more blocks and they’d be there..
As soon as Jos recognized the battered old brick apartment building he practically drug Aiden the last few yards it took to reach the soft yellow glow of the aging light bulb perched precariously above the steel grate door leading into the decrepit hallway of worn doors where the numbers designating separate apartments hung crookedly and occasionally even missing. Feeling slightly ashamed of the ramshackle old apartment complex, Jos flushed slightly as he tugged open the heavy door with difficulty, nearly falling down the small flight of stairs as the old door caught on the uneven concrete. “Sorry..” He murmured quietly, still ashamed of the poor living conditions he had chosen; but the most important thing was that a home was a home. Chewing nervously at his bottom lip, Jos glanced over his shoulder as he held the thick door open with his hip, shifting a few inches every couple of seconds as the door attempted to close back on him. “Uh-uhm, I know this isn’t the bestest place to live and stuff and you’ll probably think badly of me for it, but do you want to come in? I just live down there..” Jos asked hesitantly as he pointed down the hallway where a few of the fluorescent lights flickered hopefully before fisting his numb fingers in the thin material of his jacket and fidgeting slightly in his place, shifting his gaze from Aiden’s hazel eyes and the mucky concrete hallway floor.
Frowning slightly Jos blinked up Aiden and twisted his lips to the side momentarily before reaching out and wrapping his cool fingers around Aiden’s wrist and tugging softly at the boy’s arm. Of course he wasn’t going to let Aiden just go home! It was cold and dark and they certainly weren’t in the best neighborhood in Seattle, so whether Aiden wanted to or not, he would at least have to let Joscelin invite him in to warm up and call a cab. “Come on, at least come in and warm up a little.. I mean, you don’t really think I’m going to listen to you anyway, do you?” Jos bounced slightly on the balls of his feet and he led Aiden down the drab hallway corridor towards the oddly colored lime green door –– it had taken ages to convince the apartment manager to let him paint that poor door green, and it had finally come down to Jos lying to say that the only way he’d remember where he lived was if the door had been painted. Reaching into his pocket with trembling fingers Jos searched for the small brass key that would let him into his sanctuary, and quickly finding the object among other various things, he slid the key into the lock and pushed the door open. A rushing wave of heat and a subdued smell of cookies came rushing from the apartment as soon as the door swung open and Jos happily bounded in, his coat shrugged off quickly before he turned and grabbed Aiden’s hand and tugged the poor boy into his apartment.
Joscelin’s apartment was quite literally the definition of a haven. The once off-white walls had been painted a soothing blue grey and the small living room area had been filled with oversized plush furniture until it was cozily crowded, the walls sporting dozens of pictures of Jos with family and friends, the small boy beaming proudly into the room from each one of them. Smiling softly Jos turned and reached out to stroke the curious kitten’s head from where it had appeared from within Aiden’s jacket, his brown eyes crinkling up faintly as he cooed softly to the small, shivering animal. Stepping back, Joscelin smiled up at Aiden and bounced from foot to foot quietly hoping to get some sign of approval from the boy standing in the threshold of his apartment. “Sooo, this is home.”
ooc; IT IS ALIVEEEE! bahahahahaha, nahhh. it sucks, and it's a little jumpy and off, butttt it's done! whooo! ahaha, if it needs anything, just ask. you know how i roll. LMFAO x3
