Hello! My name is tallie. ![/blockquote]
I am sixteen.
I have been roleplaying for about five years , and here is a sample post of mine.

It was nearing to about eleven at night as Kaiden Harper swiftly walked down the pavement. Although it wasn't considered late for his standards, he usually kept up until four AM or longer, sometimes even days if he was up for it, he had places to go. That list of places wasn't exactly known to him yet, nor did he have any idea where the hell he was walking; Kaiden was only aware that the former bar he had been in wasn't the right place, and it was a necessity to get a breath of fresh air. No one would be able to convince him otherwise, even if there had been people attempting to talk him into staying. It was ironic how bored he got of the drinking scene, especially considering the fact that he was known to be one of the worst victims of the effects. Most of the time he spent his nights getting wasted... Usually that satisfied him, and he didn't have any issue whatsoever with living that lifestyle. Obviously Kaiden had some issues with himself, if not other people, but that didn't matter so much when he was quite literally out of his mind and senses. Nothing mattered when he took a few sips out of that beer, or more realistically, vodka bottle.
It was cold outside, but not cold enough to be bothered by it. Somewhere in the back of his mind, the nineteen year old felt the freezing wind on his cheeks, but took no notice of it whatsoever. After all, it wasn't as if he wasn't dressed properly for the weather. With his hands stuffed as deeply as possible into the pockets of a black hoodie with white block letters of the current most popular local band, Kaiden was warm enough. On his head he wore a matching black, woolen beanie that lay over his ears. The thing was so old, his mother probably sewed it for him when he was eight. His dark hair stuck out slightly around his ears, and his bangs lay swept over his forehead. His usual bright, brown eyes were glassy and somewhat glazed over as he stared into whatever scenery was directly in front of him. It was true that he had been drinking nonstop for the past three or four hours, and taking part in a joint didn't exactly help his condition either. Not like he could care any less about "his condition." Not like he believed it affected anyone else besides him anyway. He'd been told multiple times by everyone who knew, and even some who only knew some, that he was destroying is life, and hurting them in the process. But why did that matter? It was his life, not theirs, and it was his choice to do what he damn well wanted with his body. Kaiden sighed, breathing in the cold, dry air. It stung his throat, but he was so lost in his thoughts, he didn't notice that either.
When he started to wander slightly into the middle of the road, it was as if his entire mind and body had been shut off. Numbingly he thought of himself as a mindless, walking, living, zombie. At this point he might as well be. His head was pounding; it was lucky that the street he was on wasn't too brightly lit with four dozen street lamps, and it was good [from his perspective, at least] that there didn't seem to be anyone else out and about. After all, it wasn't like he was going to get jumped, kidnapped or raped. At the thought, Kaiden felt a slight twitch at his lips. Depending on who the offender was, he probably wouldn't mind too much even if it did happen. And if he did, it wouldn't be too hard to punch them in the eye or kick them somewhere else that would be considered effective. He had found himself in physical arguments before, and it wasn't like he was clueless about the art of escaping. Or just fighting in general.
It seemed as if he had just raised his eyes from the blackened tar road [could he even remember lowering his gaze?] when a blinding flash of light obscured his vision, and a blaring honk started to ring in his ears. His reactions too slow to even figure out what was happening, Kaiden just stopped walking, staring dully in front of him, as a bright red car swerved around him. Kaiden vaguely heard some angry cursing coming from the front seat as the car sped behind him, but it didn't change his mood. In fact, the near fatal accident didn't cause so much as a damper in his moods. If you could call what he was feeling a "mood" at all. Kaiden simply drifted back to the sidewalk, and continued to walk, this time in a slower pace. By this time his fingers were beginning to numb even more, he could barely feel them; if he wasn't so strung up and out of it, perhaps he would've slipped into the small bar & grill he passed. It seemed as if the small road he was walking on would be full of criminals waiting to mug him, but surprisingly, this street seemed to be utterly deserted.
