Name: anna marie allan[/li][li] maria allan – mother – teacher – seattle
Age: seventeen (17)
Gender: female
Sexual Orientation: straight
Social Standing: { high school studet - senior.
Physical Appearance:
Anna is one beautiful girl, and there’s no denying that. She’s the kind of girl that doesn’t need make-up or the latest fashions to look beautiful. She’s far from perfect, but you could almost say that her looks are flawless.
Her eyes. This has to be the first thing that people notice about Anna. They’re a stormy grayish-blue color, and most people don’t seem to come by them very often. Anna's never really been a heart-on-her-sleeves kind of girl, but one look in her eyes and you will know exactly how she's feeling. They're pretty much the window to her soul. Her stormy eyes also have a bit of mystery to them, like you don't quite know what's going on behind them in her mind. They're deep, and will often leave you with more questions than answers. She has a gaze that can set your soul on fire, or send your heart racing. She also tends to wear very little make-up on her face, mostly because she doesn’t need it. Often times she’ll wear something that brings her eyes out more, so that it’s the first place anyone looks.
Her hair. Not much to say, really, but they do say that the hair makes the man… or in this case the woman. Her hair is blonde, and could definitely say that it’s a beach blonde. Her style is completely unpredictable. Sometimes she wears it curly, sometimes she wears it straight. Her hair is close to being pretty thick, and she likes to keep it as thin as she possibly can, but that usually doesn’t work. Most of the time you’ll see this girl with her hair down, but you’ll almost as often see it pulled back into a messy bun or pony tail. She’s not the kind of girl that spends hours in front of a mirror getting her hair to look just right. If what she wants to do doesn’t work, she simply throws it up and goes.
Her body. There’s only one word for Anna’s body type: athletic. Being as active as she is, it’s no wonder that most of her body is muscle. Anna comes to a standing of about 5’11”, making her taller than most girls, and an average 135 pounds. Her height helps to keep her from being taken advantage of, and she’s always been proud of it. She also has the whole “small town girl” thing going on. Her skin always fair, and it looks like she’s never been in the sun a day in her life, which of course isn’t true at all. This comes from living in the mountains where the only kind of tan you get is from working outside.
Her style. Anna’s a very laid back girl, and that shows in the way that she dresses. She’s not above going for a walk in gray sweat pants and her brother’s t-shirt. She’s never been into name brands, either. As long as the clothes she wears fit to her liking, Anna’s happy. She loves faded jeans, and will only wear stuff that rest on her hips or lower. With her height, it’s sometimes hard to find jeans that fit. She also loves vintage t-shirts, and she’s probably Wal-mart’s best customer. Either way she looks for comfort in her clothes; shoes too. Shoes are probably the one thing that Anna loves. She loves everything from sneakers to flip flops to high heels, though most of the time she’d kill herself with the heels. Her closets stuffed full of shoes, but she usually has 3 or 4 pair that she wears all the time.
Piercings, tattoos, etc. Anna’s never been into piercings. She’s never had a desire to have a body full of medal, and she’s never really wanted her body covered in ink either. When she was 2 her mother pierced her ears, and those are the only piercings that she had for the longest time. In the past year, though, she did get her nose pierced, which usually has a small, silver stud in it. As far as tattoos go, though, she’s never gotten one, and she doesn’t plan on getting any anytime soon.
Personality:
Anna is the kind of girl that you never know what to expect. She can be your best friend, or your worst enemy. Either way, most people will tell you that she’s a complicated person, and maybe even cold hearted. That’s how she comes off to people sometimes, no matter how hard she tries to prove differently.
Distant. Anna tends to be a very distant person. She never tries to be, but because she’s often so observant that’s how she comes off. Anna can say that she probably only has a few very close friends in her life, and they are the only ones that will ever get more than a couple of words out of her. Really, Anna has very little tolerance for people, and she does nothing to try and hide this. This is where her cold heartedness comes out. Anna is the kind of person that will tell you to your face that she doesn’t like you, and she never tries to pretend that she does. This stands to reason that few people can stand her, and that’s mostly because they just can’t stand her honesty.
Sweet. Despite what people like to think, Anna is pretty sweet. To those she’s close to, Anna’s always there when she’s needed. She’ll stick up for them no matter what, and she’ll stand by their side until she feels they can stand alone. Few people ever see this side of her, though, because she doesn’t always let people in so easily. It takes a lot for her to open up, and she doesn’t do it for just anyone. She’s extremely trustworthy, though, and very honest. If she likes you and thinks she can trust you, she’ll let you know pretty much anything about her. However, Anna was never enlisted with a great sense of morals, so she often has difficulties determining right from wrong. This tends to draw people away from the sweet, small town girl images, and to be honest, Anna couldn’t care less.
Tough. This would have to go without saying. Anna is one tough cookie to crack, and she can take pain without much thought. She’s always been extremely strong, and she’s not a damsel in distress in any way. Anna’s more of a shoot first, ask questions later kind of girl, and you learn quickly that you really don’t mess with her. She’ll defend her friends and family in a heartbeat, and she’s been known to hold her own in a fight. Anna’s far from being a perfect role model, and she’ll tell anyone who’ll listen that she’s not perfect. Most of the time, though, she doesn’t bother to make people understand her. She lets them believe what they will, because she knows that no matter what they will anyway.
Grounded. Few people ever realize how down-to-earth Anna really is. She doesn’t always jump into a conversation or introduce herself to the new kids. She likes to sit back and observe the people around her. Anna’s always been good at reading people, and most of the time she’s not far off in her judgments. She knows as well as anyone that people aren’t always as they appear, and she’s usually pretty good at looking past physical appearance. If you want an opinion, you go to Anna. Just don’t go asking her for advice, because she’ll more than likely tell you to fight it out instead of actually sitting down to talk about things. That’s just always been the way she handles things, but anything else she’ll usually think through first.
Outgoing. Anna is very outgoing. Like any girl, she likes to out and have fun. She also has a very long and dirty past, and probably couldn’t name half the guys she’s ever been with. For a girl that looks like an angel, she can often be far from. Still, Anna’s not going to just walk away with anyone. She knows what guys will treat her right and what guys won’t, and that’s usually what she looks for. Despite her wildness, though, Anna is actually a pretty big romantic. She’d never tell anyone that she likes to write music and play the guitar, but she does, and that’s often where her true feelings about things come out. Just don’t expect her to get up on stage to sing anytime soon. Anna’s very closed up when it comes to her music, and she doesn’t expose her soul to just anyone.
Stubborn. This is the number one thing you’ll probably hear from anyone who knows Anna. She’s not the kind of person that thinks she’s right about everything, but once she has her mind set on something it’s hard to change. She doesn’t like to hear that she’s wrong, and if she’s sure that she isn’t, she won’t back down for anything. She’s not afraid to speak her mind on something, and she’ll debate until the cows come home if she’s right. She can be pretty persuasive, but get her into an argument with someone just as stubborn as she is and things get interesting. Still, Anna knows how to back down when she’s proven wrong. Mostly, though, it’s important to know that once Anna has something set in her mind, you’re better off to just let her go, and not try to change it.
Temperamental. Few people ever acknowledge it, but Anna can be a bit of a bitch if she really wants to be. Her tolerance for people has decreased with her age, and she often loses her patience with people quite easily. If she’s in a terrible mood or just plain irritated, she won’t hesitate when it comes to lashing out at people. She has a smart mouth, and she tends to use it when the time arises. Anna doesn’t bother with people she knows that she can’t stand, and she can come off as a little stand offish sometimes. She has a good heart, though, and a great mind. Few people ever see it until she lets them in, but when she does she lets you see a girl whose completely amazing and quite dependable.
History:
Anna was born on May 15, 1991. Maria and Charles, her parents, had never been happier, and they embraced their daughter with as much love as they had with their first two children, Ryan and Cierra. By that time the other two children were in their teenage years, and they were never around while she was growing up. It never bothered her, though. She was daddy’s little girl from the very beginning, and it wasn’t long before she knew everything there was to know about cars, sports, and hanging out. Life in the small town of Halo, West Virginia was sweet and simple, and Anna had never been happier.
Soon, though, things got harder. Teachers never make much as far as salaries go, and teachers in West Virginia make even less. That’s when her father decided to move them to Seattle, where he hoped that they would make a better living. Anna was 9, and she waved good bye to everything that she had ever had in the small town. She had been quite a popular little girl, and leaving her friends behind was difficult. She kept in touch for a while, but soon it was just too difficult, and so she just stopped trying.
Moving to Seattle was harder than Anna had ever thought possible. She had to start over entirely and make new friends, but she didn’t want to. So, Anna just became a loner. Over the years she gathered a few friends, but none of them had ever been too close to her. They had always had their own group of friends, and the minute they could they would leave her alone to be with their own friends. Some would invite her along, but she knew that she wasn’t wanted, so she always declined and walked away.
Anna learned at a young age that she was a beautiful girl. She never failed to catch the attention of the guys around her, and many of the girls her age and older hated her for it. By the time Anna was 14 she was no longer able to labeled as “innocent”. As the years rolled by, Anna grew more wild and untamable, and she grew distant from her family. Her mother and father were both wrapped up in their work, and she had plenty of people to pay attention to her. Whenever her parents did bother to pay attention, there was always some sort of fight that always broke out between her and her mother. An hour or so later her father would work his magic to patch things up, but the relationship had always been strained.
Then, when Anna was half way through her freshman year, she meant a guy. He was sweet, charming, and treated her like an actual person instead of just a piece of ass. She liked him a lot, and he became her closest friend. His name was Hunter Trent. Anna had no idea that when she got to know him that she’d be thrown into a tangled and complex web of histories and relationships. She soon learned that her new friend knew her cousin, Brittany, who lived back in the coastal town of Fate, North Carolina. After that it didn’t take long for their friendship to blossom completely, and Anna soon saw Hunter in a different light than she had any guy there so far.
About a month later Hunter and Anna were an official couple. She found herself happy for once since she had moved to Seattle, and relationships at home even improved. Anna was able to smile and laugh and joke around, something that hadn’t happened in so long. Hunter saw a part of her that most didn’t see, and he was the first one that she let in since they had moved from West Virginia. In a matter of weeks Hunter was taking her home to meet his family. That was the first time that she meant the famous Kade Trent, for Brit had talked about him a lot over the years, and she finally understood her cousin’s interest in the man. The Trent family seemed to like Anna well enough, and the fact that she was Brit’s cousin made her even more liked. She liked them too, and they were soon like her second family.
They say that with someone else’s happiness comes someone else’s misery. Well, that seemed to be the case. Anna could say that she was happy. Really happy. But then there was this girl, Emalee, whom Anna had never gotten along with. She was your typical prep. She was fairly wealthy, blonde, and air headed. Obviously her and Anna clashed like baking powder and vinegar. Anna hadn’t known about Emalee’s obsession with Hunter, and it only took her three months before she started gripping about it. Emalee made the biggest mistake of her life when she started things with Anna. Anna tried her hardest to be patient, and Hunter was constantly telling her to ignore it, but it wasn’t long before Anna lost it completely. It wasn’t really for herself or Hunter that she and Emalee ended up fighting, but more for Amelia, a girl that Anna had became friends with. Amelia was the small, quiet girl that never stuck up for herself. Emalee walked all over the poor girl, and just when Anna thought the girl would break from anything else, she finally stepped in.
Anna could tell you about that day without even really thinking about it. They were in the concourse of the high school that afternoon for lunch. Anna was with Hunter and a few of his friends, and Emalee was constantly throwing angry glares her way. Poor Amelia was walking over to their group when Emalee saw her, and she jumped on her at once. Millie was close to tears when Anna finally pulled away from Hunter and intervened. She gave no warning to the girl about what she was going to do. She simply smiled a sweet, innocent smile, and then decked Emalee a good one. She screamed, and then attempted to fight back. Attempted. Anna dodged every punch that the girl through, and managed to hit her a few more times. It didn’t last very long, but it sure taught them all a good lesson.
Anna was suspended for five days, and when she came back she acted as if nothing happened. Emalee didn’t show herself to Anna, but she had heard about the two black eyes that the girl still carried. For a few weeks, things were good, that is, until Emalee came around starting more trouble. Anna kept her cool, but the girl never seemed to want to give up. After about a month and a half, and two more fights, Anna gave up trying to make things work with her and the other girl. She did the hardest thing she ever had to then.
Anna cared about Hunter greatly, but being with him was ruining things for the few friends she had, and she couldn’t get suspended anymore or she’d have to find another school. She told Hunter that afternoon at lunch that they couldn’t see each other anymore, that it wasn’t going to work, and then she left it at that. Anna will never actually admit how much breaking things off had hurt her, and she never really saw how much it had hurt Hunter. They avoided each other for a few months, and then one day just started talking again. Now they’re strictly friends, and Anna’s content with that.
As for Emalee and her hoes, they gave up fighting with Anna. She hasn’t seen any of them since, and that’s fine by her. The last few years of high school have been the same as they were before Hunter. She keeps to herself a lot, and can only count one or two people as actual friends. After a while she became just another pretty face in the hallways of the school, and being ignored was good for her. She’s been in a few fights since then, but many of those girls were smart and never once came back for more. Recently Anna welcomed her cousin, Brittany, into her home. Seeing Brit the way she is is something that Anna will probably never really understand, and she tries to be there as much as she can. For now, Anna’s just happy being who she is, and that’s all that she can do for right now.
