 Do not walk slow in New York City, unless you want to get run over.
Someone will do it and no one will stop them. It may not be that they had out for you, but it’s just a busy place. The kind of society where slow-movers aren’t appreciated and problems are taken care of almost instantly. Everyone’s trying to make it and everyone’s being denied their thirty seconds of fame and if only one mere being stands in their way, they’ll eliminate the threat. You see, NYC is a give and take kind of place, primarily take. The only person that you can trust is yourself; the rest are all willing to throw you under the bus for a nickel. Although it may sound cheap, a little change goes far in this kind of city. It might just buy your next breath.
