Hello! My name is Meg/Gem. !
I am Fifteen.
I have been roleplaying for two years, and here is a sample post of mine.
Sample:
A Mr. Thomas Scott Ryan leaned back in his chair. Once again he was scanning the essay in front of him. He carefully looked over each word placed in each sentence. Slightly troubled as he was by the lack of red ink on the paper, he was rather moreso impressed. The essay was an expository essay. He had assigned it to his senior class. It was the first assignment of the year; four pages of persuasive argument on a topic of the student's choice.
It was rather easy, in his opinion, for seniors, but it was still the beginning of the year. He had been disappointed in the majority of his students; many had managed a low 'B' at the highest, and a few had even managed to 'misplace' theirs. Basically, that meant they still weren't focused enough to do their work. He wondered how many of them knew that in the real world you lost respect for being unable to speak and/or use correct English.
There had been some rather fantastic ones, including the one in front of him now. At the top of the paper was a shiny red 'A+.' The student that had written it was one of his bests, and indeed one of his favorites. Her small, private mien and friendly, yet shy manner intrigued him. She seemed overly-trusting, which made him want to protect her, almost. Of course, his observations had come from observing her for a year or more. He had also observed many of his other students, so he felt no regret and gave no second thought to how perverted that could be considered if he told someone other than himself.
As he said, he had watched Hali as well as other students. He was young, so he knew how to correctly interpret their actions and behaviors, for the most part. He could tell that Gemma Spektor liked to manipulate people, and was good at it too. He saw that Jenny and a girl named Sophie both seemed to follow Gemma, though Jenny seemed to be a closer friend.
A boy by the name of Aaron was as good as manipulation as Gemma seemed to be, though he seemed more quiet about it. Trent Iggins practically glowed around girls, though he seemed to dislike boys and prefered to keep to himself over-all. He knew a girl by the name of Isabel had a daughter, too. He knew a great many things about a great many people, but Hali interested a great deal more than most of them.
He glanced up from the third page of the essay to look at the door to his classroom. It was lunch time for a good majority of the students, including Hali. He had checked her schedule and invited her to have lunch in his room with him. He wanted to personally congratulate her on a job well done. Since he didn't have a class now and she had lunch, he figured it was a good time.
~Zoey Ann Mac~
Name: Zoey Ann Mac
Age: 21
Gender: Female
Sexual Orientation: Straight
Social Standing: Adult
Physical Appearance:
BASICS. Zoey has deep eyes of blue, and mostly straight white teeth. She stands at an average 5’6” and weighs around 108 lbs. Her hair is short and spikey. It reflects on her edgier of sides with its organized chaos and strikingly blonde color. She has fair skin with an even skin tone and well-defined facial features. Her lips are full, and her nose and eyebrows are sharp and distinct on her face. Her eyelashes aren’t particularly long or thick when she isn’t wearing mascara, but they frame her clear eyes nicely.
FIT. Zoey isn’t particularly strong, as far as muscles come into play, but she does keep in shape. She takes care of her body, if not in what she eats then in how often she exercises. She goes to the gym at least weekly, and sometimes even more often. She enjoys running, walking, and playing sports with friends. Any outside activity that involves moving could be considered her kind of thing. Because of her active lifestyle her body is slim and fit.
CURVY. Zoey may not have a ghetto butt or boobs worthy of Japanese hentai, but she is most obviously female. She has a nice curve to her body and boobs and a butt to be proud of. She’s the kind of white girl that can dance like a black girl, and she’s great at moving her hips and showing what off she’s got.
DRESS UP DOLL. Because of her pride and nice looks, Zoey’s anything but modest in her dressing style. That’s not to say she dresses like a slut, but she certainly doesn’t mind showing off her stomach, arms, legs, or cleavage. She enjoys wearing things that 1) are comfortable and 2) flatter her. She won’t mind being the one overdressed or underdressed, as long as she knows what she’s getting herself into and is comfortable in her outfit choice.
CAN YOU SEE IT? Some of Zoey’s most obvious and yet subtle features are her: stubborn chin, proud eyes, genuine smile, and confident posture. She holds herself like she knows what she’s doing, even when she’s flat out lost. Her smile is real the majority of the time, and when she fakes it you can usually tell. Her pride shines brightly in her eyes, just as her stubborn chin shows how she hates to be wrong. She is very secure about herself the majority of the time, and these features lie as masks over her few insecurities.
Personality:
STUBBORN: Zoey is definitely not the kind of person that can easily admit she is wrong. When she commits to an idea, she’ll stick it out until the end, even if she’s having her head bitten off for it. She can even get to points when she’s physically ill over knowing she’s wrong but being unable to admit it. It cannot only be visibly obvious that she’s wrong and knows it, but it can also be audible; she tends to speak less when she doubts herself.
PROUD: Her pride is what keeps her from owning up to her faults and flaws, but it is also an incredibly strong appeal. She has a high self-esteem, and because of this she always has an air of confidence about her, an air of security that makes others feel self-assured as well. She’s knows who she is, and she’s definitely not afraid to show the world. The way she looks at it, if you don’t like her excessive pride, then that’s your problem: not hers.
FUN-LOVING: There is nothing Zoey loves more than laughing. She lives by the saying, “Laughter is the best medicine.” Whether it’s practical jokes, witty sarcasm, or just craziness that’s making her laugh, she enjoys it. She loves the sound of innocent and pure laughter and the sight of a smile, though she knows better than anyone how cruel both can be at certain times. She likes making other laugh, and she’s always ready to laugh at her own mistakes, even when she has trouble admitting them.
ACTIVE: She loves long walks, especially in cold weather. (There’s something about the air that makes it seem cleaner and fresher when it’s cold out.) She’s always up for a race to the nearest telephone poll. She believes that physical health is crucial to all other health: mental, social, emotional, etc. When she exercises, she considers herself to be helping herself maintain an overall wellbeing. Therefore, she wouldn’t be the one going to the beach to tan; she’d be in the waves or walking along the boardwalk or beach.
WRATHFUL: Zoey usually laughs off small disputes and problems: why get mad when you can stay happy? However, she does have her limits, and once they’re crossed, it’s all but impossible to get back to good terms. She’s a queen of grudges, though she’d prefer to ignore an enemy rather than confront them. However, she’s got a sharp bark and a painful bite when confrontation does occur.
SOCIAL: Zoey likes being around people. She will do almost anything as long as there’s someone there next to her, whether they’re frowning in disapproval or laughing in amusement. If there’s someone there to go crazy with, she’ll join him/her in whatever wild idea he/she has in mind, and she’ll barely give it a second thought. She likes to hear her own voice, and rarely is tongue-tied around anyone. She usually only keeps quiet when she’s tired or something’s wrong.
BOLD: Zoey is one to start conversations. Ever outgoing, she doesn’t mind the risk of looking like a fool if it means having fun, and she’s not afraid to be the first one to make a move. She supports the concept of individuality. In her words, manor, and causes she can often be judged as ‘out there.’ She has a tendency to act on whims and will happily go out and fight for what she believes in. Never the kind of ‘princess’ to sit in a tall tower and wait, she likes to be part of the action first-hand.
History:
Zoey was born into a small family in Florida on March 28th. She was born at about 1 o’clock, a healthy, though small baby. Her twin brother Emanuel followed only minutes after. However, Emanuel wasn’t born as healthy as Zoey. Two days after they were born, Emanuel went into surgery; a microscopic piece of his heart needed to be replaced. Emanuel lived; the surgery was a success.
A year later Zoey’s father was offered a promotion, but it required a move with his family to New York. He took the job, and Zoey, her older sister, Emanuel, her father, and his wife moved to New York to start a new life. The family found great success in NY, and they lived a comfortable life. Her father bought a large house just outside the city that was wonderful for growing up in, and they lived a life of privilege for the next few years.
When Zoey was about seven, she was in a car accident. Her mother had been driving the twins to school and was t-boned at a busy intersection. Zoey and Penelope made it out with minimum injuries: just a few bumps, bruises, scratches, and Zoey with a broken arm. Emanuel wasn’t as lucky. He was taken to the ER in an ambulance and was immediately sent into intensive care. He died there eight hours later.
Zoey was greatly impacted by her brother’s death. She had always been the shy twin up to that point, and now the isolation that shyness brought was overwhelming. She started to become bolder, making more friends at a new school, but also causing more trouble. This was around the time she got into jokes and practical jokes; she dealed with her brother’s death through use of the best medicine: laughter.
In high school several guys asked her out, though most of them didn’t last more than two weeks. One, however, outlasted all the others. She seriously thought he could be “the one.” His name was Keith Greavis, and she was in love with him. He was in love with her too, for about a year. Then—the middle of senior year—he fell out of love; he broke up with Zoey, and it crushed her fragile heart.
Her friends, right as friends tend to be, told her that the best cure for a broken heart was a new love. She ignored their advice, dwelling on Keith until she left for college. Deep down, she knew they were right; she just didn’t want them to be. However, when she started life at a college full of new people, she realized just how good time away from home and thoughts of Keith would be for her.
In her first month of college, Zoey met Zach Cool. Everything about them went together, though Zoey didn’t think of Zach as anything more than a friend until he made his move. She didn’t realize how much she liked Zach until the childish happiness that thinking of him as more than a friend appear within her. They just… fit, and she loved it.
She dated Zach for almost a year, feeling how she had felt with Keith, but better, it seemed. She left all caution to the wind, opening her heart to him completely. Things soon started to get serious, though, and Zoey grew slightly worried. However, Zach seemed only too eager to speed things up between the two of them, and when she saw his excitement, she couldn’t help but get dragged into his ideas; he was just so cute.
She agreed to move in with Zach, and prepared with a renewed enthusiasm. In spite of her anticipation, fate seemed against the idea as it decided to rear it’s ugly head two weeks after the pair agreed on the move. Her father called with the news that her mother was seriously ill. He urged her to move back to New York, but she had made the decision before he even uttered the words.
For a month she remained in New York, reassuring Zach that she would return the same person. When death’s cruel hand took her mother away from her, however, she couldn’t bear to leave her father alone. She almost hesitantly transferred schools. Soon after her old high school sweetheart heard the news of her return and her mother’s death; Keith was back in her life. She accepted him almost too willingly, still heart sore from the break up.
Soon after she finished school, she moved in with Keith. Things were going well; life seemed great for her, though she still felt immense guilt about leaving Zach, and even a bit of love. Nevertheless, things weren’t as great as they seemed, as they never are, and Zoey soon discovered that Keith was cheating on her. She walked in on him and another woman. At first, she was heartbroken all over again, but then anger replaced the pain. She realized how wrong Keith was for her, and she hated him for treating her like he had.
She didn’t even let him explain; she left after a quick, “I hate you. Get out of my life; just fuck off.” She took her purse and her car keys, and drove to her father’s house. She spared him the details, instead just explaining what she was going to do. Simply, she wanted him to go to Keith’s apartment and get her stuff for her: she was going back to Seattle. She used the excuse that she had been having trouble with her sister, and Keith was over and done with. Her father merely nodded and helped her get her stuff together for the move.
