Chapter one;
Welcome to Dreary Meadows
From the beginning, the isolated town of Dreary Meadows had remained unknown to everyone but two of the three dominant races. These were the two superior races that had at one time, been known to all human kind, had hidden themselves by restraining their lives and everyday functions to their living quarters on a large plot of land off of an abandoned road. However, because of a great war that involved these two superior species, they have a strong detestation for one another. Both are genetically enhanced beings that existed before humans walked the earth. Today, humans call them: The vampire, and the Werewolf. Because of the twisted guise that has been created by myths and legends both breeds are known to be ‘evil’, while in fact they are just like you or I however with enhanced characteristics. Because of the modern retaliation by the humans, and the lust for testing these creatures and unlocking their inner workings, these beings had no choice but to combine and create a town where they could be themselves, as much as they wished not to.
Chapter two;
The Rise of Dreary Meadows
For about three hundred years, the breeds have kept to themselves, and remained un detected by humans. Their lives however were much different then ours, they used a neon green spray and divided the town in two, one side for the vampires, and the other for the werewolves, however, there was one structure that sat on the line. This, they used as their council building, where once a month 3 vampire elders and 3 werewolf elders would meet, and develop certain laws for each breed. While the world outside Dreary Meadows prospered and became modernized, however, the narrow-minded breeds remained stuck in their ways and the ways of the past. It wasn’t until the year 2000 when an adventurous young realist ate agent ventured into the town. At first, the breeds didn’t mind, they just kept to their own ways and didn’t mind their human visitor. However, to their horror more humans migrated to their small town, forcing them to quickly adapt to the modern way of life, as well as forcing them to erase the line that had divided them for so long, and live together as equally as they could.
Chapter three;
Changes To Be Made
Within four years the town became a small city, and humans were more common then vampires and werewolves put together. However, the humans soon became suspicious, which put the elder council members in great peril. They soon devised a plan to send one vampire and one werewolf into the “real world” to gather information about the way humans live today. They had been gone for two years, but when they returned, all rejoiced. Dreary Hollows soon urbanized and upgraded, creating all the things humans had and enjoyed in their lavish cities.
Chapter four;
Being Together Couldn’t Be Harder
[/size]The day is ours, the city has had human citizens for nearly a decade, and none of them know the secret. However, as technology grows and mysterious deaths increase due to “gang related violence” the humans who live in Dreary Meadows are beginning to question some of the strange behavior between certain people. However, they remain quite friendly to humans themselves, the tension between the enemies becomes quite noticeable. The elder council discussed this matter at the following meeting, and after much deliberation they came to a conclusion: To drop the line between vampires and werewolves and allow them to interact with the humans as well as each other in different settings.
