Hello! My name is tj !
I am fifteen.
I have been roleplaying for three years , and here is a sample post of mine.
Sample:
'You can't do it, just give up now!' My inner voice was both loud and piercing. For what seemed like an eternity, all I could do was focus on the large amount of pills that laid within my hand. 'Put them down Georgie, it ain't worth it.' Somehow, I managed to muffle the voice that seemed to play the role as my salvation. In my left hand was a glass of water that would act as a main ingredient for the concoction that would end my excuse for a life, and in my right hand was the pills, my savior.
I fiddled with the pills, passing them in between my fingers until I was content. But the little game that was designed to occupy my thoughts was unsuccessful. Soon, I felt the overwhelming feeling of sadness drop over me like an uncomfortable blanket. Yet this emotion was familiar. Not new at all to be quite honest. Throughout my life I had simply ignored it. As if to convince myself that its presence was false. And because of the actions of my past, I was in this position.
A small note remained downstairs on the kitchen counter. Though it was an unbearable attempt to explain my feelings to the ones I loved so dearly, I believed it was a failure. The only way to make them understand is to show them how sad and alone I am. 'Don't do it. You have so much to live for.' The inner voice resembled that of an alarm. Something only I could hear and was unable to turn off. 'What about your mom, your sister! What will they think when they arrive home to find you dead?' In frustration, I threw the pills and the glass of water to the ground.
"Shut up!" I yelled aloud as I paced back and fourth across my room. "I hate this. I hate it all. Why the hell am I here?" I dropped to the ground from exhaustion. I felt small tears tremble down my rough cheek. The taste of salt quickly appeared inside my dry mouth. Slumber slowly fell over my thin and frail body. 'There ya go Georgie, another night of sleep for us.' The voice said to me, as it had done multiple time before.
Gates Griffith McCarthy
Name: Gates McCarthy
Age: 28
Gender: Male
Sexual Orientation: Straight
Social Standing: Adult
Physical Appearance: If one was to imagine a nerd in their mind, Gates would fit that description perfectly. From head to toe, Gates screams nerd. His hair is a light brown and his green eyes are hidden behind a pair of large black glasses. If one was to take a glance at him, they would assume he worked at some sort of electronic store and enjoyed playing a good game of Warcraft, and well, they would be right.
Just last year, Gates went through a miraculous from short and plump to small and scrawny. How? A miracle one would assume. He is no stick although. It's not like you can play fetch with him or anything. Well, sometimes, but you have to ask nicely!
Around Gates' neck you will always find a gold necklace his mother gave him when he was fifteen. Attached to this necklace is a cross that reflects his Christian faith. But he always hides the cross underneath his shirt, so he doesn't offend anyone of course.
Gates only reaches up to about 5'9. He weights about 140 pounds and really needs to go to the gym to get in shape. One odd thing about Gates is that even during the summer, you will find him wearing pants. His white skin tone is well hidden beneath his clothes.
Personality: Gates has always been noted for his intense sarcasm. It doesn't matter what the situation is, except if it is amazingly serious, he will probably return you remark with sarcasm. It is an attribute of Gates that all must accept. And if one chooses not to, he could care less.
Whatever the situation may be, Gates is the one guy who continuously looks on the bright side. This quality also reflects his chipper attitude. It is very rare for you to spot him in a slump. And if you do, just talk to him because that will defiantly make him feel a whole lot better.
Many have said it is hard to simply describe someone with one word. And, just as every other human being on earth, the same applies to Gates. One can attempt, but will most likely fail miserably. But, if possible, the perfect word would probably be caring. He is always considerate of others and loves his friends and family so much, maybe even too much.
"Don't worry about it," is what you will often hear from Gates McCarthy. He is a very comforting person who will help others when needed. He is a great friend and companion to all, even those who sometimes don't deserve it.
Every person has their flaw, and Gates is no exception from this fact. Gates, unfortunately, is very short tempered with those who do not share his same views. But he can be convinced, just give him some time and your patience. He is a very accepting person.
History: Gates Griffith McCarthy was born on January 7, 1980 in Des Moines, Iowa. His mother was a Physician while his father the owner of a lumber yard. Growing up, Gates was treated to what many refer as the "good life". Money was never an issue throughout most if not all of his childhood
At a very young age, Gates decided he wanted to be a doctor like his mother. Because of this future goal, Gates worked very hard in school earning a 4.0 average. When Jr. High began, Gates was immediately classified as a nerd and, for some odd reason, he was happy with this. He knew well that nerds would eventually rule the world.
At the age of fourteen, Gates went through a rebirth. Through a friend he had met a school, Gates had found God and adopted the Protestant views. He knew well, and because of his own sins, that man was naturally sinful. To this day, Gates holds the philosophy and honors the Christian ideals including celibacy.
At eighteen, Gates graduated fourth in his class. He was accepted to one of the finest med schools in the United States and began to study neurology and infectious diseases. He graduated twenty-fifth in his class, maintain a 4.0 throughout all eight years.
As of now, Gates has moved to Seattle, Washington to complete his residency at a local hospital. But, this is not the only reason why he came to Seattle. The life, the wonder, and the people is what he hopes to truly love. But only time will decide.
