A laugh escaped her lips at Braden's comment. He didnt't even need to tell her that he was talking about the kids, or for that matter, not talking about the animals. Over the years she had learned to read him very well. It wasn't like she would go andtell someone that she knew everything about him, and could constantly read his mind, because that wouldn't be true. But she could tell people that she could pretty much predict his next move, and all in all just understand him. "I was thinking of someone more like.. Mr. I love The Notebook Voss." She said as she glanced up at him with a smirk. The girl was in no means making fun of him for loving The Notebook, because she knew he secretly liked it. It was a possiblity he just liked watching it with her, but none the less, he watched it, and even knew some lines. Before she knew of it, there really was one of the crazy untended children running straight towards her. Savannah loved kids, but it was really shitty when parents just let their kids roam all over the place without their consent. "Like this one?" She asked as she nodded in the direction of the little girl running towards them. She took a sharp swerve to the side to avoid confrontation with her. Luckily, she didn't hit her. "Good to know, Notebook boy" She said after she had already moved, The Notebook jokes never got old in her eyes, but they probably did in Braden's. "Sorry, I'm done with that too" She said as she tried not to laugh but say it sincerely. Back to the kids though, as much as she would have liked to ask their parents to take for of their own children, she didn't. Besides, this was much more of a children's place to hang around than a teenagers so there was nothing she could do. "Wouldn't it suck, to have really unfortunate looking kids?" She asked him, quite randomly just at the thought of kids. That was something Savannah was truthfully afraid of, having ugly kids, it would be horrible. "I mean.. I know they say that you think your kids are cute no matter what, but I really don't think that I would" She said as she shook her head, taking it a little bit too seriously.
JUST as soon as Braden stopped, Savannah too came to a subtle stop. No, she wasn't a follower, of any sort for that matter, but she didn't nessacarily want to walk around Brookfeild Zoo all of her own either. The blistering heat wasn't really a good mood setter. The cold was deffinietly the best. In the heat, people got sweaty and sticky, luckily Savannah hardly sweat, that was disgusting. But in the cold there was room for keeping eachother warm, and not depending on Miami's sun for that. Too bad it was hot out, but it wasn't really stopping either of them it looked like. At the holt she quickly stopped all previous rambling, and just took a deep breath in, enjoying the day, and the moment with Braden. She kept her head at it's normal level, but allowed her eyes to move upward staring directly into his. When his strong and desicive hands moved to the arch of her back and his face was slowly but surely getting closer it became evident what was going to happen next. In all honesty, it made Savannah prettty damn happy considering she had hardly seen him over break, and hadn't got to do this. By this time bother of her hands were wrapped around his neck and the corners of her lips drifted upwards as a smile appeared on her face. Right before their lips connected she shut her eyes and tilted head slightly to the right inorder to avoid any awkward confrontation. Her lips pressed gently against his before he had pulled away. What the hell? He had pulled away, that was a first for her, it was usually her doing that. "Two can play this game sweetie." She said as she released the lock on her arms, and moved backwards slowly breaking the grip he had on her. She took a few steps backwards, contiuously and kept a smirk on her face.
EARLIER that day, Savannah was informed of her next trip to New York. At first, she was extremely estatic about it. She had just got home and to get to go again was simply amazing to her. It was kind of a bad thing that she cared so deeply about NYC. If her mother told her she could move ther today, all alone, she would. No questions asked. Sure, she would miss everybody, but it was where she was really truly happy. Something even told her that her dad was still in New York. Maybe he was, maybe he wasn't but when she was there, she felt his prescense. The times she had been there over the years was countless. And in those times she had never once ran into him, but it was big place, so maybe that was why. Or maybe he was still on drugs and down in the dumps somewhere. But nonetheless, she thought that he was there. He loved it just as much as she did. If in the case she did move there, her friends could visit her, and she'd have her own little pent house, and it would all work out perfect in her eyes. The excitement was shut down just as quickly as it was turned on when her mother informed her she wasn't going to NYC alone this time, but with the whole Emmett family, meaning one thing. Kaspar would be present. It wasn't that she didn't want to see him, because she sort of did. But she was happy with her progress, and as much as she wanted to say this trip would have no effect on her, that would be a lie. Over Christmas break up until when they left tomorrow, the two didn't see eachother at all. Their familes usually spent Christmas together, but Savannah made up a bullshit excuse about why she couldn't go there. She had a feeling her mom knew what was going on, but her mother never cared about her daughters actual feelings. Right before Christmas break in school, there was a note exchanged. And the two decided that the only way to see if they really liked eachother, and needed to be with eachother, was to stop talking and see what would happen. So they didn't talk. And she missed him, but she was okay. Now all of that would be thrown away.
SAVANNAH knew Braden well enough to notice the little things that he was doing. Like trying not to laugh at her pitiful attempt to stop swearing for New Year's. It didn't bother her much, after all, she was just trying, whether or not she suceeded she didn't really care. "Your an ass" She said as she began to laugh, and realized she did it again. "Nevermind.. I can't give it up, it's too hard. I need something new to give up." She said truthfully. Besides, Savannah not swearing would just be weird, and very out of character. The sound of his voice so close to her sent shivers up her spine. "Interesting.." Was the only thing she felt fit enough to say at the moment. In all the pictures Adrianna had shown her, they weren't as pretty as they were in person, they were actually somewhat ugly in the pictures, but not in person.
PUBLIC display's of affection were raterd differently in every case. Savannah didn't mind it, under a few circumstances. Those were that it wasn't anything R rated, considering her record was pristine and that was the way she wanted to keep it, it was nothing too obnoxious because the worst thing in the world was seeing two people all over eachother and all you hear is, "i love you baby" "no i love you more baby" it just made you look really stupid. Other than that though, Savannah was all for it, it was right to show your affection to someone you cared about, aslong you weren't being utterly disgusting about it. "Me too, my dad wasn't really into bribbing though." She said a little bit shocked that she had just mention her dad. She thought about him often, but she never brought him up. Slowly, she slightly tilted her head to the left and shut her eyes enjoying Braden's protection, and the hold he had on her. "Unlike my uncle, who might as well be the bribber of the South, he got me a fucking Range Rover for Christmas" She said as she raised her auburn eye brows, "I mean, I love it.. but it was unnessacary, and it's not gonna make me like him anymore." She said truthfully with a shrug of the shoulders.closed.
